AVE'S POV

"In exchange?" I asked him thinking I heard wrong.

"Yes in exchange. She will return Luna back to Emily and Sam as long as you give yourself to her." Jacob said to me. Paul was behind me getting pretty heated and started to growl in frustration.

"You can't!! You just can't give yourself up!!" He yelled at me.

"But what about Luna??" I asked Paul madly. "I can't just let Jane keep her! She could kill her! I'd rather die than let a little baby that's just barely living die." I said to Paul. "I'm giving myself over to her." I said now facing Jacob.

"We need a strategy first. Everyone is inside keeping a close watch on Jane right now so it's up to us to come up with something. There's no way I'm letting anyone die." Jake said as he walked back over to the fire.

It's been an hour since I got here. I've seen Jane stare down at me from one of the upstairs rooms. She had Luna in her arms. It just made me want to finish this strategy even faster just so I could help save her already.

10minutes later we were done. We had to bring in a Cullen into the plan to make it work. So the strategy is that Jacob, and Paul come walking in with me in between them. We'll walk forward toward Jane, have the exchange done. They'll have me do hand over. I'll take Luna from Jane, hand her over to Emily or Sam then we'll have Jasper Cullen control Jane's emotions before Paul will strike at Jane hopefully the emotion control makes her realize what she's done long enough for Paul to break her. I just hope it works. Jane is very smart and this plan was just scooped out right from Jacob's mind. Even he thinks it won't work but we gotta think positively.

"Here we go..." Jacob said as we walked into the house together.

We made our way upstairs into the nursery where everyone was watching Jane. As I stepped into room Jane's head popped up. She was on the rocking chair with Luna in her arms. She was feeding her. She looked up at me and smiled.

"Hello there, it's nice to finally meet the girl who caused the death of my only brother Alec." She said as she got up from the chair and walked toward me.

"Well it's nice to finally meet the girl who wants to have me killed." I said sarcastically. She laughed slightly as she walked even closer.

"Well lets hear what you have to say. Will you be coming with me?" She asked.

"Yes, as long as Luna is returned to Emily and Sam safely." I said to her.

"Well that just won't work. You see I can't have kids, and I've grown so attached to this little girl." She said as she caressed Luna's  head. I heard growls from behind me and felt Paul shaking.

"How about you have us both and leave the Quilette tribe alone for the rest of your nonliving life?" I asked knowning I had now a new plan in my head.

"WHAT!!?? Are you crazy Ave!?? You can't let her take both of you!!" Paul yelled. I heard sobbing in the back, my heart broke knowing it was Emily. I looked over to Edward who was standing closer and closer to me, He smiled and nodded at me. I nodded back.

"That's a wonderful idea Aventura," She said putting her hand out to me so I could cross over to her side of the room.

"Is it alright if I hold Luna until we leave?" I asked

"Sure, it'll be the last time you ever hold anything." She said to me as she handed Luna over. I walked over to Jane's side and smiled back to everyone.

"Bye," I said smiling and lightly waved to everyone. Confused, angry faces looked at me and I almost died seeing all the tears.

"NO!!!!" Paul yelled as Jacob and Jasper tried holding him back before he was struck with Jane's powers. I nodded over to Edward and he speedingly ran to me and Luna, picked us up and ran out the house while Jane was distracted with hurting Paul. Everyone but Jane and Paul had watched as Edward ran out the house with me and Luna.

Alice must of had a vision and ran after us with a few others behind. Edward yelled to her to make sure everyone stayed behind. She agreed and ran back. I asked Edward where we would be going, already knowing it would be somewhere far away he threw me and Luna into his volvo that was parked miles away from the reservation. In a matter of minutes we were in Forks then in less than an hour we were at the airport. He sent us on a plane to somewhere safe that Jane wouldn't find us. But he did say that Alice had seen Jane parish just hours after we were on our plane. That Paul would be the one to kill her. I sighed in relief on the plane because I knew that Luna and I were safe in the air.

Edward had given me a cell phone, credit card, diaper bag filled with stuff for Luna, and a carry on bag with clothes for me. It's like he had known this was going to happen before it even happened. I guess thats what happens when you have a future seeing sister.

It had only been an hour on the plane waiting for take off and then an hour till landing. When the pilot announced we were going to land in 30 minutes I went to the bathroom changed clothes and cleaned up Luna. I had gotten back to our seats just in time before the plane started to descend. I buckled my belt and held Luna tight. I hadn't bothered to look out the window to see where we were going so I would be surprised. But before the plane hit the floor I heard someone yell out in joy.

"Yay we're finally in California." a young girl shouted from another row.

I started to freak when I realized Edward had sent us to California. I looked out the window and saw the large airport that laid right in the center of my home town in San Diego. I can't believe I'm back here. I told myself I would never return. But how was Edward suppose to know not to send me here? Maybe it is a pretty good place to hide. I never told anyone where I use to live or why exactly I left. But Edward with his mind reading must of figured it out.

I started to breathe heavy as I stepped off the plane. I had no idea where to go or if someone was going to meet me here. I called Edward and he said just to head back to my old house. He said he had my old home fixed up from all the damage that Alec did when he killed my father. He also told me to visit the cemetery a few blocks away. That I would find my father buried right next to my sister and my mothers ashes in an urn at the house. I cried over the phone and thanked him. I felt tears rush down my face. I wiped them away the second I hung up the phone. I stopped a taxi and was driven back to my old home with little Luna in my arms.
