Louise's POV

My head was banging. How much did I drink last night? I couldn't really remember a lot about it if I was honest.

Hesitantly, I sat up on my bed when I was struck by a major wave of dizziness. I had to sit still for a while to pull myself together.

There was a light knock on my door so I gently walked towards it. It was Ed.

"What is this?" I groggily asked referring to my headache.

"A hangover." Ed forced a smile suggesting his head hurt just as much as mine.

"I know, but... what is this?" I repeated not really sure what I was going on about.

Ed chuckled, "You drink as much as me, and I get drunk a lot."

"I wish I didn't. Wanna come in?" I asked.

"Yeah." He replied and in he came. "Have you packed?"

"Packed?" I was confused and then remembered. "Wait, today is the last day? It's Friday already?"

"Yep." Ed popped the 'p'.

"Oh." I frowned. "But yeah, I packed. I didn't really properly unpack in the first place."

I suddenly felt really sad. Ed and I weren't going to be hanging out anymore. We wouldn't be messing about in the kitchens, or being subjected to Carlos' madness.

"I know exactly how you feel." Ed said, noticing my facial expression becoming sad. "But..."

"But...?" I said.

"We don't have to work because everyone is leaving before lunch. We can do whatever we want." He smiled.

"That's a very good but." I pointed out.

"But first, we're gonna need some coffee or tea. And paracetamol, to get rid of this banging headache." Ed said.

"Good thinking." I told him.

Luckily, I always carried a small box of paracetamol with me so we downed them with a glass of water.

We headed to the canteen and we made ourselves a mug of coffee each. Damn they tasted good.

"Where's Carlos?" I asked.

"Teaching. He had a right go at me this morning though for getting drunk. Apparently you thought my hair was on fire and threw water on me."

"Really?" I laughed. "Damn I wish I could remember that."

"So do I." He agreed.

"I'm surprised he didn't get so drunk. I never thought of Carlos to be the responsible type." I said.

"Neither did I. It's probably because he's older." Ed smirked.

"Probably." I grinned back.

"Okay, so... plans for today?" Ed said.

"Hmm..." I thought about it when I saw a sparkle in Ed's eyes. "What?"

"On our first day here, we said we would 'jam' together." Ed recalled.

"Oh yeah, we did." I nodded, remembering.

"Well that's what we shall do." He smiled.

We had the whole music room to ourselves. There were so many instruments around, I couldn't even name some. Guitars, drums, keyboards, violins, to name a few.

The room was plastered in posters of famous musicians and bands. Famous quotes and lyrics were stuck to the wall, some pretty weird, some pretty amazing.
