chapter thirty two

as they waited for the doctor to come with the results of martin's scan the four of them were talking making small talk...

" martin" maggie said

" yes" he said smiling at her.

" what happened" maggie asked sebastian held rachel alittle tighter as he waited for his uncle to say what had actually happened between him and charles.

" well i called an old friend who let me know when charles was been released for trespassing at your parents house so i went to his office to see if there was any paperwork that corresponding to him sending sebastian tl laris with out your knowledge or permission i had assumed charles would go straight home. Unfortunately he came to his office as soon has he had been released and found me rummaging through his desk it fair to say it didnt go down well. anyway he started yelling at me i yelled back he called me a wife stealer i called him a soulmate stealer. he told me to leave you and seb alone and to get out of town i told him i had stayed away from you for far to long and that i wasnt going anywhere. he became enraged and hit me i pushed him he fell over i laughed then he picked up a paperweight and threw it at me andit hit me on my forehead  then i was on the fall. he came over and started kicking and punching me. then his secretary came running in screamed and ran out he kept hitting me and i passed out and then i woke up  with you stood by my side" martin said

" oh martin" maggie said grasping his hands

" look at this way my love he has been arrested for assault i am well enough to tell the police it was him his secretary saw him he has no chance of getting custody of seb and you will both get protective orders against him as he has proven he is capable of assault. so while i wish it hadnt come to this if getting hurt means you my love are free of him then it is worth it" martin said.

then before maggie could say anything the doctor walked into the room and he was smiling.

" well mr smythe you have been rather lucky its seems the swelling while not completely gone has reduced quite significantly your going to be fine. though your going to be in here for a few days so we can keep an eye on you" the doctor said  smiling before leaving the room.

" did you hear that maggie im going to be fine" martin said

monday

the custody hearing had been cancelled given charles was still locked up martin had been vistied by the police and told them what had happened.

sebastian cant believe the change in his mom she is now singing and humming aboir the house she is wewring her hair differently wearing a different perfume she is happier than he has ever seen her.

Martin continues to improve and the doctor says if be continues like he is he can be discharged on thursday.

after school rachel and sebastian have gone to the lima bean for a coffee thad trent nick jeff hunter and klaine are with them.

" you know i have to say sebastian i never liked you but knowing what you have as a father i can understand why you have been the way you have" kurt said

" not sure whether to be thankful of that or not" sebastian said

" my dad is a dick too he shipped me off to military school as soon as he could you see to him my life isnt mine to live its his to control " hunter said

" sounds very familiar " sebastian said

" and to think i tjought my dad was bad for confiscating my tiaras" kurt sighed.

" why does you have tiaras not surprise me" sebastian said rachel who was sat on his knee elbowed him.

" sorry" sebastian muttered.

" whipped" nick coughed

" what was that nick" sebastian asked

" nothing" nick said

" i cant believe your dad stole his own twins love by tricking her thats just so wrong" trent said

" yeah it is" thad said

" and to think martin never married because he never stopped loving her its so romantic " trent said

" my mom never stopped loving him atleast though for a short time she thought my dad was him... its kind of confusing it hurts my head to try to understand it all i know is my dad is a bastard and my uncle is lovely he makes my mom happy thats all that matters to me" sebastian said as his grandad wheeled his way into the lima bean.

" grandad" sebastian said

" hello seb hello rachel thad and the rest of you who i dont know im sj sebastian's grandad on his moms side his grandad on his fathers side is where he belongs in hell hopefully his fravorite son will join him soon" sj said

" grandad this is trent nick jeff and hunter and this is kurt and blaine" sebastian said

" nice to meet you and dont worry seb im not going to cramp your style you come here so often lily and i are curious to try the coffee here" sj said before wheeling upto the counter.

" oh my gld i love him" trent said

" yeah he is a pretty cool grandad" sebastian said

" i bet" kurt said as they all watched sj  moving towards the counter.
