Phantom woke up with a slight smile on his face, it was Halloween and he was a little excited! Phantom hadn't celebrated Halloween for two years, he had forgotten how much he loved it. He had been forced to come up with a costume and wear it thanks to the team, he hated how easily he agreed to it.

He hadn't said that he'd put a lot of work into his costume though, he literally cut two holes into a sheet and threw it over himself. He was basically a sheet ghost, of course he did have a few surprises if someone dared to figure out what they were. The team wouldn't force Phantom to go trick or treating but they were having a small party at the mountain.

Batman required Phantom to go instead of hiding in his room the whole time, then he found out about the party in the ghost zone. Phantom refused to miss a party thrown for Halloween in the ghost zone so Batman compromised. The mentors and the team would go with and Phantom had allowed it after thinking about it for a few minutes.

The ghosts were a bit less wary towards the heroes after the fight against Vlad so it wasn't a bad idea. Plus having them go to the party and hang out with ghosts might make the ghosts even more friendly toward the heroes. When the heroes showed up in their costumes they gave Phantom curious looks, a ghost dressed up as a ghost.

Phantom just shrugged and opened a portal into the ghost zone before walking into it, the heroes followed. They appeared outside of a large building, when Phantom opened the doors there was a large room partially filled with ghosts. Very few lower level ghosts came to this party and some of the higher level ghosts didn't go either.

There was maybe a hundred ghosts at the party and the room was pretty big so it wasn't crowded or anything. There were tables full of food and drinks, they usually didn't serve ghost food so Phantom didn't have to worry about someone dying from edible ectoplasm. Phantom walked in and the first one to spot them were Johnny and Kitty, of course Shadow was there but he didn't really like parties.

The two ghosts walked up to Phantom and Kitty hugged him while Johnny laughed. "What the hell are you wearing?"

Phantom shrugged, "I'm a sheet ghost, I was forced to dress up and this was the maximum amount of effort I would put into it."

Kitty rolled her eyes and pulled off the sheet, she knew his tricks so he wasn't going to fool her. Under the sheet was some well done makeup and partially torn clothes with bits of fake blood on them. Phantom looked like a zombie that wasn't quite rotting enough to have bits of flesh falling off.

Kitty smirked, "Maximum effort huh?"

Phantom just smiled a little and shrugged, "Can you really blame me?" As Phantom talked to different ghosts the heroes talked to a few ghosts they knew, the generals were there as well as some of the ghosts they fought with. After the battle Phantom had named them his permanent generals, if they were attacked again they'd help him defend the ghost zone.

There were a few ghosts they didn't know though, Phantom ended up talking to a ghost they didn't know. The team walked over to them and Phantom had a smile on his face, when he saw the team walking toward them he waved. When the heroes reached them Phantom decided that introductions would be good.

"Guys, this is Clockwork, master of time and destroyer of fun."

Clockwork smirked, "Only to you." Phantom rolled his eyes as all of the heroes said hi and soon got distracted by something and left. The only one that didn't was Robin and Clockwork smiled a little at the young hero and Robin smiled back. Clockwork held out his hand, "It's nice to finally meet you."

Robin shook his hand, "I've heard a little about you from Phantom."

"I know that he didn't tell you everything though, including about your relationship." Robin looked a bit shocked but the halfa and the time master were just smiling, Phantom laughed a little. "I knew before you did, you needn't worry though, I won't tell anyone." Clockwork said with slight amusement.

Clockwork excused himself and Phantom laughed, "He knows almost everything, he just can't see his own timeline." Robin laughed a little and Phantom was soon dragged away because some ghosts wanted him to dance. They didn't want Phantom to dance with them, they just wanted him to dance because he wouldn't unless someone made him.

Ember was in charge of music so when she saw him the song had ended and she immediately changed it to a song she knew Phantom liked. The halfa silently cursed her but he danced anyway, all of the heroes eventually saw Phantom on the dance floor but the ghosts blocked their view seconds later. Phantom was actually a good dancer, he was just slightly self conscious because he's very self deprecating.

As the night went on Phantom talked with ghosts and played guitar while Ember sang because she had taught him how. He also talked with the team from time to time because they didn't know anyone that well and were slightly awkward. It was a fun party though, everyone had a good time, even the mentors could say that it was a decent party.

They got back to the mountain around one in the morning and they all went home immediately or just went to their rooms if they lived at the mountain. Of course Robin and Phantom managed to sneak in a kiss before Robin left to go back to Gotham. It was a good Halloween, Phantom was glad that he could celebrate it again, he forgot how much fun it could be until now.
