Chp 22

It's been 4 hours and he's still not out, we are all worried and Liz didn't stop crying.

“Liz, calm down!” I tried to sooth her by rubbing her back.

“Jess let me tell you something, when I first saw Mike, I fell in love, it was love at first sight and then I discovered that he had cancer but my love for him was too strong and I couldn't stop loving him. When his hair started to fall out I still found him handsome and now he's gonna be my one legged handsome boyfriend but I still love him endlessly!” I smiled at her

“I'm glad you think of him that way, I can assure you that he loves you so much too!” but she just kept crying

“The point is, that happens what happens to him I will always love him but if he dies, I won't live!” and I said

“Well lucky for you he's not gonna die!” no! he will not die! I'm not just saying that, it's the truth! Liz just looked blankly at me and so did everyone else!

Finally after 5 agonizing hours, the doctor that did the operation came out with a proud smile on his face,

“I'm happy to say that the operation was a success!” I ran to him and hugged him, okay I know I'm weird but I'm happy, the doctor just laughed and then I kissed Sam and hugged everyone!

“Can we see him?” asked Liz.

“Sure, just give us 15 minutes to put him back to his bed and of course he will be sleeping and won't wake up for another 2 hours!”

“Okay, take your time” I said and Liz seemed so happy now, she kept hugging me, like the doctor said after 15 minutes we went into his room. He was pale but sleeping soundly, we all sat on chairs and just talked quietly to each other.

*After 2 hours*

Mike was coming to his senses and when he woke up he said

“I'm alive!” and Liz went to hug him

“Of course you're alive baby!” awh they are so cute! He looked a little in pain, but he looked fine too!

“How are you feeling?” I asked him, he smiled and said

“Without a leg!” if he thought that was funny, it wasn't, no one laughed! And he said

“Oh come on you guys, it was a joke!” we laughed only a little because he was happy!
