Chap 37: My Resolve. Part 1.

(By the way we're back in Evangeline's perspective. The group is fighting another enemy. Onette is back at the hotel)
"Tenki Isso Suru," Mikio wiped out. He was looking more nervous for this battle than any other. I wondered what he was thinking?
"Evangeline! I could use some help over here!" Oleander said cautiously.
"Right. Coming! Haidoro Isso Suru!" I decided to try Mikio's spell. It looked fun. I untied Oleander and went over to Yuri.
"Magic Fusion?"
"Sure," she said.
In unison we shouted,
"Magic Fusion! Water Barrage!" A bunch of water enchanted swords went flying towards the enemy. That seemed to have knocked it out.

We got back to the hotel. "I think I'm going to check on Onette real quick."
"Alright. Hey, when you're done can you meet me at the Karaoke place? I found these really good songs I like," Osaka replied.
"Sure. Be right back," I went down the hall to Onette's room.
"Oh hey Evangeline. Yeah, just let yourself in."
"Sorry I barged in I just wanted to see how you were doing. We just got back from a battle."
"I'm fine- oh! I wanted to tell you! I was walking around town and I saw this pub. Of course I didn't go in, I'm underaged."
"And?"
"I saw dad in the window."
"What? How!"
"Well I guess he moved to Japan. Anyway, I saw him in the window and said hi!"
I forgot. Onette doesn't know what happened because she was so little. Should I tell her?
"What did he do?"
"He greeted me very warmly. He came out of the pub and hugged me."
