I See You [USUK Fic Idea]

I've had this idea with me for months now, so I'd better get this out while I still can.

» admittedly, this fic is heavily (and by that I mean really, really, really heavily) based upon the Filipino independent film entitled, Kita Kita, which, when translated from Filipino, means "I see you." (Hence the title of this fic; still tentative, though.)

» pairings: USUK, past! FrUK, possible mentions of Spain x France, past! America x OC! Philippines
» has similar themes to To Be Remembered (but not really)

» the story of this fic revolves around Arthur, who is a popular novelist, both on the internet and in reality. after a particularly nasty separation with his ex, leaving him with stress-induced blindness, a young man introduces himself as 'Al', a new neighbor from across the street, who had allegedly recently moved into the community. thus the story begins.

» differences from the original movie: the fic is set in a city in modern-day Philippines. (Yes, if ever I write this, you'll read so many descriptions of places I've been to. *grins*). no, this will not end badly. i swear it.

I can't really say much more than what I've already written (as it'll pose probable spoilers), but if you want, you search for the movie I'd based this on and imagine USUK when you watch it, just like I did.
