“It doesn’t seem like you even care.”
“Of course I cared Luke.”
“Cared?”
“I still do.”
We remain in an awkward silence for a while, but the thoughts of what he could have possibly done to land him in this hell for seven months are eating at me. I mean I tried to kill myself multiple times, yet I only got four months. I’m praying he isn’t a serial killer, but I’m sure if he was they wouldn’t have let him out ever, so I can cross that one off my list. Still I’m worried he will be offended by me asking, but if I don’t ask now I’ll most likely never know.
“Tell me.”
“Tell you what?” Luke asks sarcastically.
“You know.”
“I can’t.”
“That isn’t fair Luke, you know everything about me.”
“You’ll think I’m crazy.”
“Aren’t we all?”
