Are we Done?

It's been about a month since drake told Nicki about Rihanna being pregnant. And word got out that Rihanna was pregnant & there were photos of drake going to doctor appointments with Rihanna. So everyone is leaning towards the idea that drake is the father. Drake and Nicki haven't really been talking.

It was Drake's weekend with gabby & Nicki was going to Miami for a video shoot with Chris Brown.

Drake pulled up to Nicki's house and knocked instead of just walking in.

*knock Knock*

Nicki made her way to the door.

Nicki: hey

She said as she quickly looked at him, then let him in

Drake: Is gabby ready?

Nicki: yea. she in here

They started walking to the family room where gabby was sitting with her doll and bag, ready to go with her dad

Drake: hey baby girl

Gabby got so excited to see her dad. She hopped down from the couch and ran up to drake who embraced her with his loving arms.

Drake: I've missed you

Gabby: I miss u too daddy

Nicki walked over to gabby

Nicki: ready to go bye bye?

Gabby shook her head

Nicki: okay let's go

She said as she picked her up to carry her outside to the car.

She placed her in her booster seat & closed her door.

Nicki: so I should be back Monday

Drake: alright

Nicki: and she's been running a fever, so I put her prescription in her bag.

Drake: alright.

Nicki: so how have u been

Drake: good. umm I was in the studio with Twist.

Nicki: oh yea? how was that

Drake: he's maturing. He's doin good

Nicki: that's good. How's Rihanna & the baby

Drake: she's good. She'll be 5 months next week & we'll see what we're having next week

Nicki: oh so it is yours

Drake: yea

Nicki: why didn't u tell me

Drake: I didn't know if u would wanna know something like that

Nicki: I mean I would wanna know if Gabby's gonna have a brother or sister around here pretty soon... So are u guys working on things, you know, with y'all's relationship

Drake: i don't know. We're taking one day at a time. But how u been

Nicki: steady working. After I come back from Miami I got invited to go to London's fashion week

Drake: I'm glad we can talk like this. You know as people & not two adults acting like kids.

Nicki: yea

It was an awkward moment. Nicki looked at drake & completely did not recognize the person standing in front of her.

Nicki: but have a great weekend with your daughter

She said looking away quickly.

Drake could tell something was going through her head

Drake: you know I never meant

Nicki put her hand up & he stopped talking

Nicki: stop.

Nicki opened Gabby's door

Nicki: I love you

Gabby: love you too mommy

Nicki: promise you'll be good

Gabby: okay

Nicki: promise?

Nicki looked at her with a face that gabby knew Nicki was getting ready to tickle her.

Gabby: okay I promise

She said in the mist of her laughter.

Drake just sat back and watched a family that he knew was his before to a family that's been broken. He know he made a mistake & there's no way he can make it back into Nicki's heart anymore.

Nicki closed Gabby's door

Nicki: alright see y'all later

She said as she started to walk away

Drake: alright. Call me when you get settled in your hotel room

Nicki: I'll call gabby.

She said with a smile. And she went back inside her house to finish packing.

About 10 mins later Candi came by so that her and Nicki could get on the private flight together

Candi: helloooo?

She said walking into Nicki's house

Candi: I'm looking for a girl that's about 5'2. She's black, with ass for days

She said yelling waiting for Nicki to respond.

Nicki: hahaha. You are crazy

Nicki said meeting candi in the foyer of her house.

They make their way up to Nicki's bedroom.

Candi: so gabby went with her dad

Nicki: yea

She said as she was trying to get all of her stuff together

Candi: how was it seeing him?

Nicki: I mean he looked like himself. He's going back to the curly hair look

Candi: you know what I mean. What did it feel like to see him

Nicki: for the first time ever I didn't want to kill him, like I always do when we break up & this situation is more serious than it's ever been. First I was engaged to him, so it wasn't just a regular break up. Then Rihanna's pregnant & it's his baby

Candi: what?!

Nicki: yes girl, he told me today

Candi: but Nicki you know I have to ask you. How many times in y'all relationship have you came to me crying about him. And how many times have I watched you take him back after everytime you said you were done. And I like drake. I honestly do. But sometimes I don't like what he puts you through. And you obviously love him because you have never been in a relationship this long. And it might be because y'all have a kid together, but that doesn't mean you have to be in a relationship with him. And I believe drake loves you, but before he was with you he had hoes. And he might not be ready to settle down just yet.

Nicki: so what have I been fighting for? I don't know why I take him back. It's like no matter what he does, I can't stay away. And I hate it's like that because he probably feels like he can fuck around all the time and I can just be his crutch to lean on when his other hoes don't got him. Like does he realize I'm the one raising his kid. I wish we had the same intentions, but we don't, and that's the problem. And he's right, we weren't together when him and Rihanna were hooking up, but were weren't apart that long either. This time I'm seriously done. Because not only am I dragging myself into this routine, but I'm dragging a two year old in it as well. And I don't want her to look at our relationship and feel like that's how relationships are supposed to be, when it's not.

Candi: you're my bestfriend and I know you better than anyone. And the women I see here is definitely not the face I'm used to seeing. And I'm not saying just give up on him completely, but find your happiness first. Make sure you're alright.
