Chapter 1

"Isaac. I don't want to go home. I am scared."I said.
"We both are. Don't worry you don't look like mom."Isaac said.
"What did she look like?"I ask.
"A great mother looks great. She has your eyes. Green eyes. Curly hair. Perfect body. Sarcastic. Funny."Isaac said.
"We better get going."I said.
"Ava we have time to dig up this grave."Isaac said.
"Wake me up when you finish."I said.
I sleep on Isaac's shoulder.
Fourty-two minutes later Isaac shakes me.
"What is that?"Isaac asks.
Isaac sees a furry hand.
We are then in a hole.
Isaac climbs up and sees.
Something moves the tractor.
"Need a hand."Someone said.
I hide in a corner.
He then goes and grabs Ava's hand but she is still scared.
"Ava. It's alright."Isaac said.
I look at Isaac and the guy.
"Name is Derek. If you were wondering."he said.
"She gets scared easily."Isaac said.
I hide behind Isaac.
Derek glows his eyes and Ava comes out looking at them.
I glare at his eyes.
"Do you want the bite?"Derek asked.
"No."I said.
"Isaac does."I said.

I wake up. Apparently I fell asleep on Isaac and he probably brought me home.
We head to the cemetery and we get questioned by the sheriff.
"How did you get the black eye Isaac?"sheriff said.
"School."Isaac said.
"Fight."sheriff said.
"No. Lacrosse."Isaac said.
"You play for the team. My son is on the team but he technically don't play."sheriff rambles.
"I'm going to school."I said.
Sheriff sees Ava's eye and a busted lip.

Later on tonight
"What's the grade son?"father said.
"It's a D."Isaac said.
Ava runs from the table.
"You could've blinded me."Isaac said taking the glass out.
"It's a scratch. It's it's..."father said.
Isaac grabs Ava's hand and runs to his bicycle and rides it as Ava does the same.
"Isaac! Ava!"their father said.
Their father runs to the car and something breaks the door and kills him.
"We are going to Derek's."Isaac said.

Derek's hangout
"Derek I think my father is dead."Isaac said.
"What did you do?"Derek asks.
Isaac then explains everything.
"I'm scared something is going come after us."Ava said to Isaac.
"Don't worry about it."Isaac said.
We then head to school the next day.

School
I watch Isaac play lacrosse and the sheriff and two deputies grab Isaac and then me.
Isaac tell the sheriff that Ava can't communicate with her hands behind her back.
They then place cuffs on her front side and sit her next to Isaac.
Twenty minutes later they go off in the car to the sheriff department.

Sheriff Department
Sheriff reads her file and walks in and see Ava in a corner.
"I read your case file. You're deaf in one ear. Tristan Day had damaged your ear. He physically and mentally abused you. You dyed your hair blueish green. You have severe depression. You were raped. Oh God I don't want to read more. Seizures when someone touches her."sheriff reads her case out loud.
"May I sit right here?"sheriff asks.
I nod my head.
"Did you hurt your father Ava?"sheriff asks.
I shake my head no.
"Did Isaac?"sheriff asks.
I shake my head no.
He gives me a paper and a pen.
"We ran away and something attacked him. I saw it all."I wrote.
He then reads it.
"What was it?"sheriff asks.
"Something not human."I wrote.
He then reads it and sees cutting scars on her wrists.
He was about to leave when he saw Ava crawl in the corner in a ball.
"Don't touch her. Let her be."sheriff said.
The deputy sits in a chair.
Derek comes in and knocks the guy out.
"We have to go."Derek said.
Derek takes her file.
He then heads to his hideout.

Derek's hangout
Isaac lays her down and she sleeps on Isaac's lap.
"She has to take her medicine or she'll freak out."Isaac said.
Derek grabbed the medicine and handed it to Isaac.
"She is a schizophrenic. This is why she said no."Derek said.
"She was also raped by her ex-boyfriend Tristan Day. He damaged her ear and abused her. He went to jail and she was then abused by our father. She has no friends just me. Her big brother. She is deaf in the left ear."Isaac said.
Derek runs and placed it on the sheriff's desk at home.
He comes back and see Ava drawing.

"What are you drawing and why are you up?"Derek asked?
"Couldn't sleep. Can't get the thing off of my mind."I said.
"You are thinking about why I said no towards you."I said.
"Isaac had informed me about your situation."Derek said.
"You can draw?"Derek asked.
"I've been drawing for a while. Keeps my situation controlled."I said.
"I'll be going to bed. Night Ava."Derek said taking his shirt off.
I look up and he seen that I saw his back.

He smiles as Ava looked down.
I go to bed.
Next day Ava wakes and Isaac seen a drawing of Derek's back.
"You kept mom's wish. She wanted you to never stop drawing."Isaac said.
"I tried to stop but I couldn't even if I tried."I said.
I leave the room and I put my mp3 player in my ear. Technically it was Isaac's but he gave it to me.
I see a girl enter the hangout with Derek.

She looks at Ava while she plays the music loud.
"That is Isaac and the girl playing the music is Ava. Brother and sister. She is not a werewolf but he is."Derek said as Ava smiles.
The girl walks up to Ava.
"Names Erica."She said.
"E.R.I.C.A."she signed.
"My name is A.V.A."I sign.
"When did you learn?"Erica asked.
"Since a douche broke my hearing."I said.
Isaac laughs.
I look up.
"The douche deserves everything he gotten too."Isaac said.
