I step off the bus
It's dark
Dim lighting serves well to keep me hidden enough
Dark and deep
It covers my pain
A moment later you walk off as well
I step into the light
You look straight at me
I look straight at you
For a moment all is frozen
All is forgotten
But my memory does not fail me
Abruptly
I turn and walk away
Anger swells inside
You hurt me
But did you know:
I love you
Now it hurts to look at you
Because you don't know what you've done
I want you to know what you've made me feel
But I can't tell you
Because I don't want you to know
And I love you
But for now
The pain prevails
