Warning : Slight SPG ahead.

The race started and ended without Kuya Randell knowing anything.

I remember kuya's favor so he ended up seating far away from me as we watch the race because I did not want kuya to spot us together.

I didn't know that a simple flirting could get me into trouble. I sighed and walked with my teammates to the gym for our practice. With my hair up to a pony tail, volleyball shorts and white t-shirt, I was ready to practice.

When we walked into the gym, the basketball team was also there that made me and the entire volleyball team confuse. Meron ding mga konting nanonood sa benches. I also saw Chloe, Kathy and Shiela waving at me. Even Xavier was there.

Bakit kaya?

Because the whole basketball team was here, my eyes searched for the person with mesmerizing dark chocolate eyes and brown hair.

Disappointment consumed me when I did not saw him but it all vanished the moment I looked up when I felt someone stood beside me.

He was there looking straight ahead where our coach and their coach stood.

"Just in time." He said, his breathing ragged and uneven. Mukha atang tumkabo't nagmadali siya papunta dito.

My senses were getting wild like these bugs in my tummy. Napayuko ako at napakagat sa labi.

Anong sasabihin ko? Magte-thank you na ba ako? Mamaya nalang kaya? Oh my gosh! I couldn't believe that I was clueless of what to say to a guy! Ngayon lang ako nagkaganito. Ako si Iara at hindi dapat nangyayari 'to! What's wrong with me?

I heard a loud clap that pulled me back of my senses.

"Okay, listen up!" Mrs. Agoncillo shouted. That's the basketball team's coach.

My eyes landed on their matching wristband proving that they were one of the people who had their love story started with the school's legend.

To whom was clear but the answer to why was very much vague. Not to mention that I might get rejection to that so giving my wristband was definitely not going to happen.

But who would reject me? Bwiset! Pati sarili ko pinagdududahan ko na.

"Okay, partner up for warm ups and stretching!" Mr. Agoncillo shouted.

The two teams would have to practice together within an hour, sharing the court.

They did not give us specific instructions on who to partner with so the pairing could be with or beyond your team.
