"In one point two miles, turn left"

I woke up after the GPS's statement

"Oahh." I yawned as the car ratted around. Sticking out my arms as if to grasp something.

"Morning sleepy." Said lenny.

"Morning." I said as I stretched and remembered my spot. I pulled the blanket around me as I crawled from the back to the middle seats. I had forgotten that last night I had gotten up and moved to the back of the car. It was so hot it felt like I was going to burst into flames. As usual when I moved Lenny moved with me. So it basically became a rolling game to not be sweaty with Len and be cool. I eventually lost and now I can feel my clothes basically soaked from sweat.

"It's almost winter why is it so hot in here?" I said wiping my face but still cuddling my blanket for satisfaction.

I heard the front window open.

"In point four miles you destination is on the right."

I checked the time.

"FOUR FIFTY TWO, MORNING MY ASS. I THOUGHT WE AGREED THAT YOU'D WAKE ME."

I leaned against the driver's seat and hit his shoulder.

"I thought i'd let you sleep in, I know you were up all nig..."

"Your destination is on the right."

The turn signal started clicking.

I was rubbing my eyes when Lenny spoke. "So this is the place huh?" I looked up the see a small shack like place. We pulled in and went into a parking spot. Just like the diner this place was pretty vacant. I saw him grab a sticky note with things written on it. Then he leaned over to the glove box and grabbed two pocket knifes. He turned facing me. "Put this in your underwear." He held the folded knife toward me.

"My what..." I said loudly. He rolled his eyes and put his finger over his mouth. "They're gonna hear you. Now, if shit goes down.." He said in a slow taunting voice as if talking to a child. "You have something to protect yourself with."

"Yeah, yeah but what about the underwear?"

He sighed as I wasn't getting the point. "They'll probably pat us down for weapons, the knife is only a safety.. I guess precaution." He paused looking at the knife then flung it open by pushing a button.

"See this is how you open and close it." He did it a few times before handing it to me. "Make sure it's tucked in good so they can't find it." I cringed as I saw him turn around and open the door. Quickly I slipped the folded knife in my underwear and opened the door. I leaped out.

My legs cramped as I haven't walked around in quite awhile.

"Just don't say anything, you hear me? And don't act weird." he said looking down at me.

I nodded. I sure was a little nervous. This all seemed surreal.

We walked in the saloon looking place and saw around. The first thing that became apparent was the long bar area that had brown leather chairs all next to each other.

We walked toward the man behind the bar.

The place did look much bigger on the inside than the outside. Across the bar was rows of leather booths with low hanging lights and frame pictures on the wall.

A man walked out of the corner where a sign hung saying restroom.

"Well Bill, I think i'm heading out."
