"He's going to flip over if he doesn't slow down, Oh no the crowd is screaming."

BOOOO BOOOO You're last place.

"The driver regains control."

AHHHH the driver the gains the crowds respect.

Anais and Dei sat on the porch playing cars.

"You better move your person before they get hit."

Over my dead body, Dei said in a girly tone.

"Vrusshh. She's down, she's down."

Someone call an ambulance!

Ah but the driver keeps going she's going to make it! Annnnnnd.

"Anny, Dei come inside before you melt. It's lunch time anyways, I made mac and cheese."

"Coming Aunty." Yelled Anny.

You coming Dei? He set down his person. "Yeah."

The cool house air hit them as they opened the screen door. "A plate for you and a plate for you." Anny's aunt smiled at them. "Oh thats right, is your mother going to be picking you up today Dei?"

"Uh uh." he shook his head. "My mom is working tonight so she said I could spend the night."

"Yeah, yeah, he brought a bag." Anais exclaimed.

"That's alright just remind me to let you call your mother in the morning, now eat up you two."

She handed them both forks when Anais slide on her socks and ran. "Last one upstairs is soggy Mac and Cheese."

"No running in the house" yelled the Aunt but Anny ignored the statement as she was already half way up the stairs.

At the top of the stairs Dei painted.

"Let's go to our igloo, slow poke." She grabbed Dei's arm and pulled him toward a room and opened the door. Inside was a giant fort made out of pillows and blankets.

Anais crawled in first. Then Dei.

"Here." Anny said while handing Dei a spongebob blanket. "The air should turn on soon."
She wrapped herself in a pink and blue blanket and faced toward the AC vent.

They both took a bite. "Say, why does your aunt like the house so cold?"

"I don't know I think it's something with them not having cold air when she was young."

"Ah hah." The air turned on.

Anny picked up a toy plane, laying in the fort. "And the arr..tic winds are blowing in. Buurrr."

Dei shivered at the air. Soon enough both Dei and Anny had an airplane in hand and were flying them around. "Annnd crash." Said Anny as she collided planes with Dei and dumped her Mac and Cheese on the floor. "Uh oh."

Two hours later

"Hopefully we can rebuild our fort when the sheets come out of the wash."

Yeah, said Dei as he watched upside down Anny play with a Hacky Sack.

She pulled herself up from the tree branch. "What cha' reading?"

"Wayside School is Falling Down."

"Ohh sounds interesting, wow." Anny stared at the page. A lot of words, where you learn to read that well?

Dei shrugged.

"Oh yeah I forgot", she hopped down to where Dei was sitting under the tree. "For third grade recess on Monday we have to get the monkey bars back. That girl Lizzy keeps hogging em' and using them for something called Monkey Freeze tag", she shook her head and closed her eyes. "The whole idea just seems dumb."

Anny turned and stomped, kicking her feet up every step. "Freeze tag is meant for the ground not air."

"Hey Anny you want to go ride bikes? You can borrow mine!"

Anny turned around noticing and seen that she's played with them before.

Two older boys stood with their bikes. "Sure!" She ran toward them.

Turning around she faced Dei as the two boys glared at him. "You coming Dei?" She smiled as she ran back and grabbed his arm. "I think it's time I teach you how to ride a bike."
