*NOT EDITED (Duh.)

Celebrity Interview: Chapter Thirty-One: The Restaurant

To be completely honest , we should have expected it. The double-takes, the staring and even the respectful "I-don't-want-to-scare-you-off-but-oh-my-gosh" looks. It's not like they didn't start up when we walked into any other place, but I suppose we had hoped it would subside for tonight.

Instead, we were treated nearly like royalty as the owner of JuJu's came out to greet us before we even had the opportunity to sit at one of the cozy-looking tables. She had asked for a picture with us, telling us that we would be the first edition to her celebrity wall and pointed to an  empty space on the wall above to the hostess' station.

We couldn't truly turn down a picture and I had only begun to hope that no one else would get the urge to take a picture with us when the owner, whose name I learned was Sandra, politely announced to us that if we needed any help that her husband was in the kitchen to assist if need be. Gratefully, I thanked her as she showed us to our table.

It was in the corner of JuJu's, a small booth off to the side where the view was minimal to other guest but where we could see everything.

Niall sat across from me without any words and we both thanked Sandra before she left with promises of a waiter in our future. When she had gone through a large swinging door which I could only assume was the kitchen, he reached across the table to hold my hand. He gave it a light squeeze as I looked into his eyes.

"This would be the downside to living the dream."

I snorted quietly. "Hardly. You know better than everyone else that these people are behaved compared to your fans."

He looked at me, mock-offended. "Hey, they're the best fans in the world!"

I grinned at him. "Let's just agree that Simptonians and Directioners are both amazing then."

He narrowed his eyes playfully. "Fine."

As we were told, a waitress, no older than eighteen, walked up to our table not much longer and smiled at us.

"Can I offer you some refreshments?"

Impressed at the level she did her job, I replied with a simple, "Coke, please." while Niall asked for a Pepsi.

She looked at him with an apologetic smile. "I'm sorry, sir. We don't carry Pepsi products."

When I laughed at him, he stuck his tongue out at me quickly before asking for a Pepsi as well.

"All hail Coke!" I said as the waitress, Elena, walked away to get our drinks.

"Oh, pish posh."

I gave him a weird look. "Don't ever say that again."

"What? Pish posh?"

"No, 'oh'." I replied, my tone as sarcastic as I could manage.

He gave me a cheeky smirk. "I won't, Sunshine."

I shook my head at him but couldn't hold back a laugh. "Where did all your sarcasm come from, mister?"

"Lou." he answered honestly, giving me a large grin.

Elena came back with our drinks in record time and asked for our orders as well.

Pensively, I looked over the menu while Niall ordered. "The goat cheese fritters and the 'Belly Busting' pork."
