Sharlene met up with Alexa, Nash and Kobi as they waited for the van to come and pick them up. Jairus then came shortly after her.

“Mika’s not with you today?” Sharlene noticed.

“Thank goodness.” He replied.

The van then came.

As soon as the group got in the van, they started on their way to Suraij Springs. The group sang songs on the way, played games, to pass time, but eventually fell asleep. Jairus, who was sitting next to Sharlene, noticed her head leaning on Kobi’s shoulder.

“Sorry Kobi, akin na lang si Shar.” He whispered, as he moved her head toward his chest and held her as if he was cradling a baby.

Sharlene obviously felt comfortable and moved closed in. Jairus couldn’t help but feel the bliss as she hugged him in her sleep.

“Palusot pa to!” Kobi whispered.

Jairus just replied with a big smile and went to sleep along with Sharlene.

Sharlene woke up moments later and realized she was in Jairus’ arms. She ignored it and smiled as he watched him sleep. She then felt caressed his face then his lips. Little did she know, Jairus is a light sleeper and woke up from what Sharlene did to him, but kept his eyes closed. Sharlene then hugged him tighter and rested her head on his chest. Jairus for some reason felt sadness in her hug.

“It’s okay Sharlene. I’ll always be here. Promise.” He whispered as he caressed her hair.

Sharlene suddenly got up and faced him. He put his finger on his mouth to shush her and smiled. He pulled her closer and kissed her forehead.

They finally arrived the springs and went straight to their room.

“Wow Jai! It’s beautiful here!!” Alexa told.

“What did you expect? It’s an Aquino company.” He bragged. “I got a presedential suite so that all of us can stay in one room. May bedrooms naman yun eh. So okay lang.” he told them.

As soon as the group got to their suite, they put their bags down and unpacked their things.

“Shar, unpack later, explore tayo. Sama ka?” Alexa invited.

“Sige susunod na lang ako. Remember, may photo shoot ako mamaya ha?” She reminded them.

“Bukas na lang daw ung photo shoot. Paul called kanina. So enjoy na lang natin today!” Alexa told her.

“Let’s go Shar!” Jairus invited her.

“Ha? Ah. Okay.” She shyly agreed.

The group walked around the resort. Kobi played in the arcade, while Alexa and Nash walked around the neighborhood market. Jairus and Sharlene on the other hand, decided to walk on the beach.

Sharlene dipped her feet in the sand where the waves can reach her ankle. Jairus then snuck up behind her and pretended to push her to the water, but only to hug her behind and carried her, spinning her around instead. She screamed followed by laughter. As soon as she put her down, Sharlene hit his shoulder.

“Don’t ever do that again! You scared me!” She pointed out.

“Let me think about it. No!” he joked.

“Fine then.” She left him.

Jairus ran after her, apologizing, but was ignored.

“Sharlne naman oh. I’m sorry na.” he pleaded with a pout.
