G's Point of View:

Habang abala ang make-up artist ko sa ginagawa niya sa mukha ko, nakaabang naman si Khei na nakaharap lang din sa'kin, kinukunan ako ng maraming pictures sa DSLR niya. Samantala, abala naman ang isipan kong gulong-gulo sa dapat kong gawin.

"Miss Sy?" narinig kong tawag ng make- up artist but I can't seem to get out from my bubble of worry.

"G!" Khei squealed.

"What?"

"Can you check your look, maam?" the makeup artist asked. "May gusto ba ka'yong ipadagdag o ano?"

"I don't think so. Ok na naman siguro." I turned to Khei to ask her opinion. "Khei, what do you think?"

"Ah. You're gorgeous no matter what make up you wear. Even without those, you're still the prettiest," tugon niyang full-out pa ang ngiti.

"Bunny! Papasok ako!"

Shemayy. Nagsimula na naman ang maingay na maligno. Tch. Hindi pa nga ako nakasagot ay nakapasok na siya sa kwarto.

"Woah!" he exclaimed when he saw me. What's that for? "Aren't you the prettiest birthday girl in the world?"

Pasulyap- sulyap ako kay Khei dahil narin sa pangangamba kong magselos siya. Ayoko no'n. Wala naman talaga akong nararamdaman para sa Specter na 'to eh. I don't think he does too. Feeling ko, pang- aasar lang niya lahat ng sinabi niya sa'kin last time.

"Thanks."

"Hey! What's with that face? Babydoll, are you feeling alright? You look overwrought? Everything fine?" nag-aalalang tanong niya mayamaya pa, napansin ang pagkabalisa ko.

"Yeah. Kinakabahan lang. Um... Guys, since okay na naman lahat, my makeup's done and I'm all ready to..." I paused, faking a smile. "...to rock the night. Can you leave me alone for a while?"

Nag-arko ng kilay si Khei sa sinabi ko. She tried to communicate with me telepathically and I told her that I really am serious about being alone.

"I'll wait outside,"s he said before heading to the doorway.

"Cupcake and I will wait for you outside. Take your time but don't take too long."

Tumango ako at agad na sinara ang pinto nang makalabas na silang lahat. I really wanted to scream. I don't know what to do at the moment.

"G. Breathe in. Breathe out. Wag kang magpanic. You have to think clearly," I reprimanded myself as I kept walking back and forth.

Kagabi kasi, I told mom there are some people I'm going to add to the list of the invited people. Hindi ko maintindihan kung bakit hindi siya pumayag na pumunta si RC. Well. Wala namang invited na schoolmate ko maliban kay Khei. I don't understand my parents. Pero iba ang ikinabahala ko ngayon. Paano ko sisiputin si RC?

I took my phone and started typing a message to him...

RC. I'm so sorry but I can't make it tonight—

No. Noo. I can't cancel our date because this is our first date and it has to be very special! Pero paano ko siya sisiputin kung may sarili akong event rito?

"G! 10 minutes. The party is about to start," Khei informed from outside the room.

Why the hell am I so stupid! Why am I soooooooo stupid! Ugh! I was panicking and I can't think of anything other than calling him. As I was dialing his digits, Tiffie got in the room.
