Sleep

Soft breaths,  in, out

Drift into sleep, just about

To close your eyes

But a soft touch; a simple suprise

Catches you, you know its he

Flutter open; look up, squint to see

Smile widely, sit up straight,

Want to go forward but you hesitate

Lips to forehead, soft, sweet

Can't contain it, look up, eyes meet

Pulls you close, warm embrace,

Feel the heat rise to face,

Head to chest, you hear his heart,

A small rhythm and you start

To drift back off, warm, divine

You know you'll be safe, fine
