I like the total irrelevance
Of your comments.
When you smile because of me,
I'm happier than you could know.
I ignore the adrenaline rush
Streaming through my blood
Every time you take the effort
To talk to me when it could be anyone else.
I like you, even though you think
That you're a bad person,
Really you are softer, kinder,
More loved than you think,
And I will wait for you
To see that I
Am not ever
Giving up on you
Because you did the same for me.
