Hate

There is a line where love turns to hate,

Where we find our destiny and name it Fate,

A place that causes things to cross and twist,

Lives drawn together, up from the fog, the mist,

Bonds ripped at the seams, clinging threads torn,

Never relenting rivalries breaking out, born,

Two souls laced together, bound

Wraveled so tightly, never to be unwound.

Travelers cross from one side to the other

Scorning their lives, longing for another.

Always searching for a glimmer in the dark,

Never realizing they're actually snuffing out a spark.

A spark with the potential to be a flame,

But in vain, it was placed with the blame.

The shimmer in the darkness flashes, drawing victims in,

It appears beautiful but is ringing with sin

All those chances replaced with an evil, a driving hate.

Hurry, turn back, before its too late.
