Dear friend, thank you for accepting my apologies,
For forgetting the things I said whilst broken,
For accepting the way my bitterness pools like seas.
Dear friend, thank you for pushing me away from my past,
For urging me towards a new future,
For forging a friendship that will last.
Dear friend, thank you for always being there,
For listening to me complain on end,
For not leaving after each other's hearts we did tear.
Dear friend thank you,
For being so consistent,
For doing whatever it is you do.
