Chapter 14

---Gowther's  P.O.V---

I take out the last attacker with my arrow. Once I was finished I step down and run to look for Y/n.
She ran off without my permission and that surprised me. I didn't know she was capable of those things she'd done. I guess I don't know her as well as I assumed,  but we're going to have to-

I stop at the sight of Y/n fighting, she lunges and dodges, as if she had known how to use an actual sword but fought with a dagger.
Suddenly she was thrown to the floor, I thought she could handle this.
I did not enjoy the feeling of knowing someone with an IQ of 1 is hurting someone I...care about?
I took out my bow and aim at the attacker who was hurting Y/n, but was stopped when someone seemed to have shot me in the back.

"Oh. What is this?" Oh, it's one of the attackers. I look at the arrow and realize it's filled with a numbness poison causing my body to fall to the ground, my glasses coming off. This is no ordinary poison. I think of Y/n and turn back to my attacker running towards me. Y/n will be okay, I know she will.

---Third Person P.O.V--

She was slow in regaining consciousness, but when she did, Y/n bolted up upright, whipping her head back and forth. She was stopped when a sudden exhaustion-induced headache came in as the darkness surrounded her. Her vision was blurry. It took her a minute to recognize the shape of the furniture and window near her. It was a night out. Her head pounded slightly but got her vision back to normal. She looked around the room and weakly smiled...just the sight of the moon in the sky gave her relief she was alive after all that had happened. Y/n was in Meliodas's room but was fought off guard when she heard a groan next to her. She looked down, realizing she wasn't alone in the bed.

King was sleeping next to her while hugging her waist. Y/n blushes, but doesn't want to wake him after seeing the bandages around her body, assuming he did this. King is the kind of person to help, he always had been. She thought.

---Y/n's P.O.V---

I blush as he cuddles. He looks like a small kitten sleeping. Suddenly I remembered what had happened, causing me to panic. What happened to Gowther!? Ban!? Everyone!!? Oh, my gods did I put them in endanger!? Are they okay!?
The thought of this made my heartbeat feel like someone was banging on a drum repeatedly.
I quickly but quietly take King's arms off of me and stand up but stumble at the sudden pain of my cuts. I push the pain away and slowly walk downstairs, the place became cold around me.
I come downstairs and once I'm there I feel someone embracing me, quickly notice who they were and hug back.
"Oh Y/n, your okay!" Elizabeth exclaimed, tears of joy coming out of her eyes. 
I smile and pull away, holding onto her shoulders.
"Thanks, Elizabeth, but are the others alright?" I asked worriedly, while I look at the tears falling off her cheeks.

"Y/n, You're all better!"

A huge weight felt like it was lifted off of me when I heard the voice of the one and only, Meliodas. He comes towards me, sending me a cheeky smile.
"Glad your alright Y/n, I don't want you out of my sight again." He said hugging me, about to squeeze my boobs, but Ban came in taking Meliodas off of me and hugging him?
His cheeks seem really red...? Oh...he's drunk.
Ban looks at me and I back away. "Y/n! Your okay!" He says, hiccuping and running at me.
Oh, no-
I couldn't run because of the pain and was soon in Ban's arms spinning me round and round.
"I was soooo worried about you!!" He said drunk, I smiled.
"Thanks for saving me from that wall, "I said, knowing he wouldn't say all those things he is right now if he wasn't drunk.
He puts me down and stumbles to the nearest table, dropping dead. 

I walk outside of the tavern to see Diane there, she looked happy.
"Hey, Diane, "I greeted. "I'm happy you alright, you're a really good fighter; I'm surprised."

"Thanks?"
We both laugh and she goes to the other side of the tavern to probably yell at Meliodas.
I look around for Gowther and see him sitting on a hill, away from the tavern.

I decided to walk towards him.
Once I was near him, his head looked back.
My eyes widen and suddenly I was embraced by Gowther.
The feeling of his body against mine felt, so good. Like I was safe. He pulls away from me and I smile.
"Don't you ever get me worried like that ever again!" He yells worriedly.
He pulls me in again.
This is weird... Gowther never expressed emotions before? Hmmm?
