Shane sang, eyes locked with mine as he blindly strung the guitar, but never missed a cord. I knew everyone's eyes were on us and that they were probably whispering about us, but I didn't hear them or see them around me. The only thing that I was and wanted to be focused on was Shane and his angelic voice. Everything around me disappeared and it was only just me and him.

He sang eyes falling to my lips and stayed there for the chorus. They made there way up my face and locked with mine once again. I took in a sharp breath as he gave me a small, loving smile. I looked away shyly, pushing a strand of fallen hair behind my ear.

He gave me a nod, meaning that he was serious about what he was saying, which made butterflies fill my stomach in a matter of seconds. I bit my lip softly as he parted his lip to sing again.

He gave me a loving look at the last sentence, eyes roaming my face. I gave a small smile not knowing what to do about the sudden passion building inside of me. Was I ready for love? Yes. Was I ready for Shane? Always. Was I ready to hurt someone else? No... I looked down ashamed as Jared filled my thoughts.
