MERCY

"Happy Wedding," nakangiting bati ko sa mag asawa.

Oo, alam kong sila. Noon pa lang. Marami akong alam kay Leonrew and after that one night stand, I stay away from him though part of me starts falling for him. But I can't stop myself from not getting mad because first of all, he is married to someone, and who am I?

Wala na akong magagawa kung yan na talaga ang nararamdaman niya sa akin. I love Leonrew and I can sacrifice everything maging masaya lang siya. I and Shentel were close friends before but she forgot it. I'm happy that she can remember now.

I'm happy for them. I'm literally eating up my own words. I said I love him and I hope na sana magkaanak sila at kasing ganda ko.

"Maraming salamat, Mercy! Bakit nga pala hindi ka nakadalo sa kasal namin?" she asked. I smile to her.

"May inasikaso lang and also, I wasn't invited there. By the way nagkita naba kayo ulit ni Stifler?" tanong ko sa kanya. Alam ko na naalala na niya lahat. Leonrew told me yesterday. Tumingin ako kay Leonrew na nakangiti habang tinititigan si Shentel. How lucky she is to have someone like him in her life.

"Hindi pa...Wag na nga natin pag-usapan ang gagong yun!" she replied I laugh well she's fierce though. "Hahaha okay okay." Tumingin ako kay Leonrew and he's also looking at me. He turned his head down after nodding his head, giving me signal to tell Shentel the truth.

"Uhm... Shentel?" Umiwas ng tingin si Leonrew kaya hinila ko ang upuan at umupo sa tabi niya. Tumingin si Shentel sa akin at ngumiti. That smile is so innocent. Will she get mad at us? "There's something you need to know...." I throw a glance at Leonrew and I saw him nodding his head.

It looks like he can't say it so he wants me to say it instead. It's not a problem for me.

"Ano yun?"

"Before... When you were unconscious, your parents forbid Leonrew to come at you, they threatened him with a lot of things that drives him crazy," I started. I saw Shentel's sadness in her eyes and now I'm thinking twice if should I say it or not.

"Tapos?" Tumingin ako kay Shentel at huminga ng malalim.

"The thing is.... Your parents want him to stay out in your life that puts him into severe depression. He hurt himself because of that and went to bars to get wasted and drunk... I was in the bar where he was and I saw him wasted so I approached him," Shentel's lips parted and nodded her head.

"Something happen?" she asked. Tumingin ako kay Leonrew na nakayoko.

"Y-Yes..." Umiwas ng tingin si Shentel dahil sa sagot ko at tumingin sa ibaba katulad ng asawa niya. "Tapos?" tanong nito.

"I.... I like Leonrew, so I gave in and we got intimate with each other-" My lips parted when she shook her head.

"Get out." I swallowed the lump in my throat and looked at Leonrew who was staring at his wife. "GET OUT, YOU TWO! GET THE FUCK OUT!"

"Sweetie...." Tiningnan ko ng masama si Leo.

"Masarap ba?" Umiling siya sa tanong ko at umiwas ng tingin. "MASARAP BA!" Hindi sumagot si Leo kaya pinunasan ko ang luhang lumabas sa mga mata ko.

"Umalis ka muna, please..."

"Sweetie—"

"ALIS!" Tumayo si Leo sa upuan niya at umalis ng kwarto. Napa Yakap ako sa dalawang tuhod ko at ikinulong ang mukha ko doon. Paano nila ginawa yun? Alam nila na may nangyaring hindi maganda sa akin and they took advantage of it? Ang sakit. Ayaw mag sink-in sa utak ko ang sakit.
