SHENTEL

"Napadalaw kayo dito?" tanong ni Mama. Nagmano naman ako sa kanya at umupo sa tabi niya. I'm wearing a jacket right now. Umulan kasi ng malakas kanina kaya pina-jacket ako ni Leo para daw hindi ako ginawin kasi malamig daw ang simoy ng hangin.

"May iba balita lang po," nakangiting sagot ko ngumiti naman sila. Tumayo si Mama para ipagtempla ako ng kape at binigay sa akin yun. Tinanggap ko naman yun at humigop doon habang inaabangan ang sasabihin ni Leo.

"Magkaka-apo na ba kami?"

"Soon enough, Mom." pilyong sagot ni Leo kinurot ko nga. "Ouch! it hurts, I'm not lying though!" he reason out. Inirapan ko siya.

"Ikakasal na po kami bukas, Ma." Nabitawan naman ni Mama ang papel na hawak niya at nakangangang tumingin sa amin. Nahiya naman ako kaya yumuko ako.

"E-edi masaya! dapat ba na maganda ang suot ko? O simple lang? Magkaka-apo na ba kami pag nagkataon? I'M SO EXCITED!"

*jaw dropped*

Napatingin ako kay Leo, pero ngumiti lang siya sa akin. "Pwede ko bang imbitahin mga kumpare ko diyan huh manugang ko?"

Namula ang pisngi ni Leo dahil sa tanong ni Papa bago siya natawa ng mahina at kinamot ang batok niya."O-of course dad. Feel free," nakangiting sagot niya.

"Sigurado ka diyan, Leo? baka hindi pa nagsisimula ang kasal natin eh puno na ang simbahan ah."

"Stop worrying nonsense, sweetie, I would be happy if that would happen because I want everyone to witness our beloved wedding," he answered, pinching the tip of my nose tapos hinawakan ng mahigpit ang kamay ko.

"Ang drama mo naman." Umiwas ako ng tingin sa kanya, namula ata mukha ko sa sinabi niya huhuhu. Ba't kasi napaka corny niya eh.

I want everyone to witness daw keme. Siya gusto nun, eh ako? Nakakahiya kaya! At saka paano kung nagkamali ako ng bigkas sa vow ko? Edi pagtatawanan kami doon, nakakahiya kaya yun!

After heading to her parents', we headed to the boutique again to do a quick fit with my suit and her wedding gown. I actually want the wedding to happen today, but I think it's too sudden, so I moved it to this 5. I waited for her to complain about my plans, but she only sulked for not having let her know about them. She is indeed the Shentel I've known for so long. She complains so often as long as the schedule won't hurdle her.

"Papasok na ako ah?" Shentel said. I nodded my head while my eyes roamed over my white and gray suit. I stopped scanning my suit when the designer clapped his hands. I tilted my head and my world stopped spinning when I saw her wearing her gown.

It's already 12 am and I'm still awake with my soon-to-be wife, Shentel. She asked me to stay on the couch as she was heading to the bathroom to wear her wedding gown and expose it to me. I got excited, so I stayed, waiting for her.

As minutes passed by, she stepped out of the bathroom wearing her gown. That made me smile. "Maganda ba hubby?" she asked. I nodded. "It really suits you," I said with a smile on my lips, and she returned my smile. She sat beside me and put her head on my broad shoulder.

"Excited na ako sa kasal natin hubby ," she said, smiling. I caress her head, kissing the top of her head. "You always do. "Pangatlong beses na yung sinabi," I replied.She chuckled, which made me chuckle as well.

She cups my cheeks, giving me a soft peck on the lips. "Why smack? When can you make it passionate, baby? Kiss me again," I teased, pouting my lips.

"Ano ka ba hubby! para sa kasal na natin yang passionate mo." I pouted, but then I felt her lips in mine. "Wag makulit okay?" I nod, taking my tuxedo. If she's wearing that gown in front of me, it would be rude if I didn't wear mine too, right?
