~ CHLOE'S POV ~

I got into bed, ready to fall asleep. The space next to me is empty, like it has been for the past day that feels like a week. I'm starting to miss Aaron. It's a lot less fun without him. It's just me and the dog in the apartment. There have been a lot less laughs, barely any at all. And if there were any, it was me laughing at a tv show, or YouTube video. I tried forgetting he was gone, but we live together, so that wasn't easy. I started thinking about what Aaron said.

What if Jack was right? Maybe that girl was just a fan, who wanted a kiss? Maybe she had a backstage pass, but you couldn't see it? What if I was just getting jealous?

I decided to go back to the picture. I examined it closely. I thought it would help me relax, but it made me more tense. I could feel my eyes tearing up.

No, no, no! Don't cry, don't cry! Calm down, you'll be okay. Stop looking at the picture. Take your eyes off of the picture. Stop!

Tears came flowing down my cheeks. I threw my phone across the room. I held my head in my hands and sat there. Not knowing how much time went by. About 20 minutes later I got up and grabbed my phone to text Jack.

C: Jack, I don't know what to do
J: Is it Aaron?
C: Yeah
J: What's going on now?
C: I kept thinking about that damn picture
J: Chloe, just take a breath
C: I've tried to! Nothing is working. Idk if I miss him, or what
J: Ur just jealous
C: Of what?!
J: That girl
C: Why would I be jealous of her?!
J: Because she's there to see Aaron, and ur not. U just want to see him
C: No I don't
J: Chloe, yes u do. U r telling yourself u don't but u do.
C: But it's only been 2 days
J: Well when's the last time u and Aaron have been apart for 2 days straight?
C: We haven't
J: Exactly. U just need to see him
C: Well how can I do that?
J: Fly to Utah
C: Really?
J: Yeah. I'll pay for your flight
C: When do u want me to?
J: Tuesday morning?
C: idk
J: Come on, Cloe. I'm ur best friend, I've got ur back
C: Fine
J: Kk, see ya in 2 days!
C: bye
