The week was ending. During the week Sarah thought furiously on how to find the horcruxes. She made a list in her mind:
Diary
Ring
Locket
Diadem
Snake
Hufflepuff's Cup
The diadem was the easiest to find, thus, she thought she would go for it in the end. The ring was also quite easy to find, however the big question was where the cup, the diary and the locket are. Sarah suspected the cup to be in the Lestrange vault and the diary in Malfoy Manor but of course, she couldn't be sure. Moreover, she couldn't just possibly walk to Malfoy and say: "Hey, you got a diary from Voldemort?" If Sarah's memory served her right, then Voldemort still hasn't put the locket into the cave. That means that she didn't even know where to begin with the search for the damn locket! And of course, the snake. It was the biggest challenge.
Sarah got a headache when she thought about it.
It was Thursday evening. On her way to her dorm she heard Sirius whispering to James in the Common Room: "Don't you think it's time for some pranks?" "Yeah, I'll grab the Map and we can..." "Shit", Sarah swore under her breath, she completely forgot the map. Panicking, she quickly said: "Accio, Mauraders Map" and it flew to her. She hid it between her books just in time as James came to the stairs. "Hello, Sarah", he greeted her, "I didn't see you here." "Yeah, I just came", Sarah lied quickly, "I'm tired, so I'll go to bed. I see you tomorrow, ok?" "Good night then", James said sounding a bit disappointed and hurt from her harsh demeanour. Sarah had a guilty conscience for a moment for pushing him away but quickly went upstairs. Luckily, she was the only one in the room as it was still early. She quickly put her books onto her bed and said to the Map: "I solemnly swear that I'm up to no good." The map revealed itself and she clearly saw the dot indicating her place with the name: Sarah Potter. She thought furiously for a solution since she couldn't keep the map for forever. She could also see the boys now all in their dorm quickly walking back and forth. "Well, they won't find the map there", she thought dryly. Then she decided to hide the map in her trunk at first and made sure that the trunk was closed as she went outside again in order to go to the library in hope to find a solution. She went through every charm book but couldn't find anything useful. It was then as she was close to give up, she read an interesting article in an old charm book which she found in the restricting part of the library (she looked around and when nobody looked at her, she sneaked in):
You want to change something unchangeable? For example you want to diminsh a chapter in a book? All you have to do is make a copy of the book and think about what you want to delete. The spell you have to use is: Duplica Exstinguere. But be cautious: what has been done can't be cancelled. The best course of action is to burn the original one, so there is no danger of revealing your deed.
Sarah memorized the spell and put the book back to its place. Then she went to her dorm again. Unfortunately, she met with the four boys again. "I thought you went to sleep?", James inquired with a raised eyebrow. "I thought I forgot something in the library but I didn't find it there so apparently it is in my dorm", she lied thinking quickly. James didn't really look convinced but nodded.
"Hey, you didn't see an old, worn parchment, did you?", Sirius suddenly asked. He ignored the warning glances of his friends. "A worn out, old parchment?", Sarah repeated feigning confusion and ignorance, "no, I didn't see one but if you need paper I can give you some so you don't need to write on old parchment." Sarah congrulated herself in her mind for her good answer. "Ehm thanks for the offer but I still have some", Sirius answered while scratching his head embarrassed.

Sorry, I just couldn't let the Mauraders notice it. It's too soon! (Which doesn't mean that they surely will notice it... Maybe Sarah won't tell them at all :P)
Hope you had fun with this chapter!!! :D
