Mandi
I raised my eyebrows in both of their directions.
“Seriously,” I said, “that’s what you wanted to say?”
“Well, Mandi we both know so we decided that it would be
best if the other person in our little group knew, too. Plus, it’s
not like he’ll tell anyone,” AnaBella said.
“What if he does,” I was too close to tears. I got up off the swing
and started walking home.
“Mandi,” Dillon and AnaBella called simultaneously. No, I couldn’t
face them; at least not here.
“I don’t wanna talk,” I said. All of a sudden I felt sick. I ran and puked

“Okay,” I agreed. “I’m sorry about freaking out.”
“It’s okay,” she assured me. “Besides, your hormones are all
wacko-crayzo right now.”
“Yeah, I guess they are,” I told her. At that Dillon pulled up in a little
Chevy car. I only knew the brand, not the type; I sucked at those types
of things.
“Where to,” Dillon asked as I got in the front seat and AnaBella got in
the back.
“To my house,” I said as I wiped the tears off of my cheeks.
“Are you okay,” Dillon asked me worriedly.
“Yeah,” I answered with a small smile.
“Was it something we said,” he asked slowly.
“I’ll explain it by saying that I have absolutely no control if I break
down in tears. Basically a normal girl’s hormones are all over the
