When the wind blows,
Oh when the wind blows,
That is when I find that I know,
That this game is no show.
When the wind blows,

That you are in fact nor friend or foe.
When the wind blows,

That is when I find that I know,
That this world will surely grow.
When the wind blows,

That there is a shadow.
When the wind blows,

That is when I find that I know,
That this day has moved far too slow.
When the wind blows,

That is when I find that I know,
That this beach has an undertow.
We all find things we did not know,
When the wind blows.
On an overcast day,
Our thoughts are always astray,
And when the wind blows,
Oh when the wind blows,
We find these things we'd never know,
If the wind did not blow.
