Memory Loss Chapter 19

Chapter 19

So it was a plan. We were going to save Damen. So we grabbed a back pack each and packed the essentials that we may and will need on the trip. The thing with Raven’s gift is that she can’t pin point where the vision takes place. Only glimpses of the area around the place it takes place. Therefore it will be harder for us to find him, oh joy.

I was in charge of bread, peanut butter and crackers. Yah wooo right. Once we were all done packing are bags we came up with a small plan. Jesse was partnered with Max. Mace and Eve, and Jake and I. Raven was on he own so she could concentrate on locating Damen. The partners were so that if your partner went one way you are with them with them no matter what. So that no one will ever be alone… except Raven anyways.

“Okay Bella bring us to where you last saw Damen. Aka when he was tying his shoe. I may be able to trace where he went. Maybe, I won’t know unless I try right?” Think Bella think where exactly. OH! I remember now.

“Okay follow me!” I said leading them out of the house, and then they lead me to where they found me.

Jake had a blank cold stare on his face for the rest of the day. But can you blame him? He just learned that his “sister” can see vision like things. And has been able to since she was young. I can’t imagine what’s going through his head right now. But I sort of can because he’s finding out something he never knew about part of his life. Like how I’m remembering little bits of my life slowly. It’s amazing how much life can change in an instant.

So I took them to exactly where I last saw my beloved Damen. I pray that he is okay and still alive. Once everyone caught up to us Raven placed her hand on the pavement of the road where I Damen knelt down to tie his show lace. She told us not to move or make a sound so that she could concentrate better on seeing what happened or at least sense where about they took Damen.

All of a sudden she jumped off the ground and started running down the road at a good speed mind you. So all of us still a bit confused ran after her. Finally at the end of the road she stopped so we could catch up to her.

“Do you mind explaining the sudden running Raven?” Asked  Eve trying to catch her breath from the sudden run we just did.

“Agreed please explain and don’t run off until you explain next time please.” Mace  said with his arm around Eve’s waist as she takes her last deep breath to regain oxygen.

“I’m sorry it’s just that I got this sudden urge of energy from touching where Damen was. I can feel his energy; he’s trying to reach out to us without even knowing it. I got a trace but it only leads to here so I’m guessing that they turned here. Let me see if I can find anything to help us know where he is.”

This is starting to feel more real now. We really are going to find Damen I can’t believe it! Look out Damen where coming to get you.

Raven has risen from the ground now. She doesn’t have the same smile on her face like when we started off with finding which way Damen went.

“I have some good news and some bad news…” She said looking at all of us with a sad look on her face. “Bad news is that I can’t figure out which way they went… But the good news is that there is enough of us to go both ways.” She said with a slight smile trying to cheer us up.

“But Raven how is that going to work. You will have to go one way and hope you find a clue or have a vision of some sort to find out where Damen went. But what about the other way. What if he is actually the other way and it’s too late to realise it and they kill Damen.” Jake said straight to Raven’s face sending a wave of despair straight to my heart. How could he say that…

So I walked away from the group as they argued. Eve started yelling at Jake for saying that around me with how fragile I am about Damen. And Raven was arguing with Jake about making fun of her abilities and how Jake’s just made because she never told him about her visions. I couldn’t take them yelling so I was smart to walk away from them. But not too far, they would still be able to see me.

All I wanted to do was cry. So that’s exactly what I did. I sat on the side of the curb on the road and cried my heat out. I was crying so much that I didn’t notice that Max came and took a seat beside me. I’m guessing he’s tired of the yelling just like I am.

“Don’t worry Bella we will find Damen. Alive. I promise you that.” He said rubbing my back in attempt to comfort me as I cried. But I couldn’t be around people at this time. So I asked him to please let me have some time alone. He was nice enough to respect my wish and leave me be to cry in peace.

After the group stopped arguing and actually talked like civilized people to try and figure out what to do now I heard something. I wasn’t sure if the sun was playing tricks on me but I heard his voice. I head Damen speaking to me. It was a memory from back when we had our date. I remember him telling me something. That no matter how lost or alone we feel in our heart there is always someone there that will listen. Even if you can’t see them there is someone always looking over you. And that if you really want to be with someone. To find someone that the heart will lead the way. That speech he said ran over and over in my head as I let my eyes stay closed and held my hand to my heart.

And then it happened. It was a sensation of love and warmth. I knew, I hoped I knew which way we needed to go to find him. So I went to the group and said loud enough so they could all hear me above them talking.

“We go left. Not right, but left.” My love towards Damen called out to me and told me to go left and left is the way I will go. Until my heart says otherwise.

“But how do you know that we should go left?” Asked Mace sitting up from lying down in the grass on the side of the road.

“I just do. I’m not sure you would understand this but that’s the way my heart says to go. And people always say to follow your heart so that’s what we will do. Follow my heart because I know now that I can understand love. Because I love Damen.” I said with a smile on my face and a tear in my eye. It felt good to say that to someone. I love Damen.

“Well then. Let’s get a move on if we want to make some progress before night fall. Left it is.” Mace said as he helped Eve off the ground so we could head on our way.

We are finally making progress. And I hope we find him… before it’s to late.
