Ashton: “Its not that bad of a difference (Y/N),” Ashton argued. You were currently leaning against the counter, facing him as he stared at you. You were two years younger then him but there were times that the fans made jokes or insulted the two of you. They would call him a cradle robber, a corrupter, that you were too young for him. “Why are you listening to them? Obviously you and I know that it’s not a problem!” He said, throwing his arms up. You sighed and ran a hand through your hair. “You don’t think its weird sometimes?” You avoided his gaze, unsure of his expression. You looked up when he exhaled a long breath. “Why would I think it’s weird? It’d be weird if it was like six years. I’d find it weird if you were older than me but c’mon, it’s two years. That’s nothing. Besides I think it’s cute. I get to protect you,” He said walking over slightly to embrace you in a tight hug. You relaxed into his warmth, hearing his heartbeat through his t-shirt. “It doesn’t matter what age you are because I’d love you no matter what.” He said kissing the top of your head. “I love you, you know that right, you silly girl.” His voice reverberated through your head, making you smile as his arms tightened around you. “I love you too, so much. Even if you are two years older then me.” You said as his chuckled, picking you up slightly, just enough to kiss you on the lips.

Calum: You sat in front of the television watching Calum and the lads do an interview. You had gone public with your relationship a few months ago and interviewers took every chance they could get to ask about the tidbits of your lives. Currently the questions were directed at Calum, “So, Calum.” The interviewer said. “You and (Y/N), whats the age difference between the two of you?” The interviewer looked keen on getting this out, you sighed, wondering where this was going. Many people had said that there was a problem with the difference, but you both couldn’t fathom what was wrong. Calum sighed and cleared his throat before looking up. “We’re about two and a half years apart, myself being older.” “And does that make a difference? Must be hard going out to clubs and bars?” Calum shook his head. “We’re from Australia, the drinking age being 18, we have no problem getting in. As for it being a problem between us, there isn’t. I don’t understand why people keep saying that. So many people have an age difference in their relationship, hell I can probably say that 90% of our parents have some sort of age gap, and nobody says a damn thing about it.” You could tell he was angry. Even the boys looked a little taken aback at his outburst. “I think as long as we love each other, age shouldn’t matter. And I can 100% say that I wholeheartedly love her. I love (Y/N), plain and simple. It wouldn’t matter if she was older then me or if she was even younger, I would love her regardless.” You smiled lovingly at the television, because as Calum said that he looked directly at the camera, knowing full well that you were watching.

Luke: “You know you should respect your elders,” Luke said as you tackled him, making  him laugh. “It’s five months! You’re not an elder!” You said laughing as he flipped you over, his body now straddling yours. “Five months is five months. I’m still older then you.” You laughed, as he smiled crookedly down at you. “That’s nothing! We’re the same number, so technically you can’t say that.” You argued. “But you see, we may be the same number, but I turn a different one five months earlier then you, so that makes me older. Didn’t your Mother ever tell you not to argue or doubt your elders?” He said grinning devilishly at you. “If you really want me to respect my elders I shouldn’t do this should I?” You said wiggling your hips against his, immediately receiving a groan. “You may be too old to do what I want…” You trailed of suggestively. “God damn you,” He said capturing your lips in a heated kiss. “I’m defiantly not too old to not want you.” He said pressing his body against yours, deepening the kiss.

Michael: “Happy Birthday babe,” You whispered into his ear, his eyelashes fluttering against his cheek. You were lying in bed, the comforter hiding your intertwined bodies from the morning sun, his arm hanging lazily over your waist. He smiled, nuzzling his head into the crook of your neck, his arm pulling you closer against him. “Another year older…” He said against your skin, a small kiss being placed on your collarbone. “Don’t say that,” You laughed slightly. “You’re still a teenager!” He laughed, the small sound making your stomach flutter. “But you see, that means I’m now a year and a half older than you. And we used to be just a year. It’s odd,” He raised his head, his piercing green eyes meeting yours. “Why’s that odd?” You asked, your hand trailing over his arm. “Besides I’ll catch up in six months. You know that, and then we’ll just be a year apart.” You said kissing him. “Enough about age, now about your birthday present.” You said as he smiled into the kiss, the sunlight casting a soft light on his face.
