Misunderstanding: Ashton

Ashton had been away a lot lately, he was constantly in the studio working with the rest of 5sos. You’d also been focusing a lot on school because you had a ton of finals to study for. You didn’t get to spend much time together considering you only saw each other about once a week. Although, today was your last day of finals and you wanted to plan something special with Ashton. You had been planning for a while, and you decided on going to dinner and then out to the aquarium. You had always thought that aquarium dates were so cute so you were very excited. In the morning you had texted Ashton “Come over, I need to talk to you about something” You had picked out a cute dress and a pair of wedged sandals to wear on your date, and went down to the living room to wait for Ashton. He rang the doorbell and you hurried to the door, when you opened the door the look on Ashton’s face was a bit upsetting. Before you could ask about anything he started speaking “Look, (Y/N), I know we haven’t seen each other in a long time. I just wanted to say that you are everything to me, and I know I haven’t showed it at all. You’re so beautiful and smart. I don’t deserve you at all. You deserve someone who will see you more than once a week. You know I’ll always love you, but you just deserve someone better and I totally understand why you’re breaking up with me.” You stood there with a your mouth gaped open with tears in your eyes. “Ashton…I’m not breaking up with you! I wanted to know if you wanted to go on a date tonight with me. I guess I should have been more clear with my text message. Ashton, you’re everything I could ask for. I would never want anyone else but you. I love you so much” You leaned in and kissed Ashton. You two had a wonderful date, and continued being a beautiful couple together.
