"WHO ARE YOU?" THE man demanded as Atlas stood there, slightly confused at the man. I was too, he was definitely not the same person I'd seen on the porch this morning. He also looked like he'd just gotten out of a mental hospital.

"My name is Atlas," he replied.

"Oh, so you're the guy that parades your power around," he smirked. "As a fellow Witch, I outta put you in your place."

"Well you'd better give me my powers back to make it a fair fight," Atlas narrowed his eyes at the man.

"I don't have Squash," he pursed his lips and I saw Atlas tilt his head a little bit.

"What?" Atlas asked.

"Squash has gone for a walk," the man answered. "Without Squash, it's a fair fight."

Without another word, the man threw a fireball towards Atlas, who jumped out of the way. The fire smashed against one of the bookshelves, then disappeared. The man started laughing maniacally and Atlas looked at me.

His eyes widened slightly, but before he could do anything I felt this jolt up my arm.

I looked behind me quickly and there was a floating orb of light with little sparks flicking out of it.

It shocked me again, but this one hurt more. It felt like it was going through my veins and heating my blood up.

Without thinking, I got up to run away. I only made it a few steps before something hit me and I crashed to the ground. There was a shoe on the ground next to me and when I looked up, the man was missing one.

Before I could even begin getting mad about this crazy asshole throwing his footwear at me, that floating light was upon me.

"Valkyrie!" Atlas cried as the light began electrocuting me. This time hurt even more. I felt the electricity in my bones and my veins, my teeth were smashing together so hard that I thought they might break and I felt as though I was being cooked.

It finally stopped and as much as I tried, I couldn't do anything. I couldn't move or talk and I could barely breathe.

In my peripheral, I could see Atlas laying on the ground, pushed up against a bookshelf.

I saw the man getting closer to Atlas. I wanted to scream for him to get away from Atlas, but I couldn't. He stretched his hand out towards Atlas and every fibre in my body wanted to throw myself in front of him and take the hit.

Randomly, the wind started to pick up, which was weird because we were inside a building. It got so hard that the books started to fly off of the shelves. I watched as the man fell off of his feet and started sliding against the floor in the direction of the wind , which just so happened to be in the opposite direction as Atlas.

Then I felt electricity run right up my spine.

I shot up and immediately regretted it. Everything was hurting and I felt like I was burning up. I pulled the blanket off of me and frowned.

I wasn't in my bed, nor was I in a shirt. Even stranger though, was that Atlas was laying in the bed next to me.

"Ew," I scrunched my nose up and Atlas' eyes opened.
