Its a cold winters day, Grace is all covered up in her blankets watching netflix.
When her mom calls her for dinner, she walks downstairs with all her blankets still around her.
"Hey Grace are you cold?" Her mom laughs
"Maybe..."
Grace sits down at the table and starts with her food.
"Grace your father and I wanna tell you something."
Grace gets chills of the words, last time the suprise didn't turn out so well.
"Well you know how your father and i were searching for new jobs?"
"Yes i do..."
"We found new jobs!"
"Omg congrats! I'm so proud of you guys!"
"But... its not in this town..."
"You mean we have to move?"
"Yes we move next month..."
"But i still can see my friends over the weekends, right?"
It went quiet
"Right?!"
There was an awkward stare and a long silence.
"I.. am.. so.. sorry.." her mom says slowly
"I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS?"
"Grace please don't yell.."
"NO I WON'T STOP YELLING! LISTEN I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU, BUT COULDN'T YOU TELL ME THIS EARLIER" Grace yells she runs back upstairs and cries on her bed.
*15 minutes later*
"Sweetie can we talk?"
"No.."
Grace mom walks in and sits on the bed, Grace is still crying on her bed
"I'm sorry that we haven't told you earlier, but we also know it for a week"
"Why didn't you told it right away?"
"We didn't knew how. When we heard it was in another city we, we knew you wouldn't like it."
"What city are we going?"
"Were moving to LA/California"
"LA what now?! You mean i can see Jace again?"
"Well I'm not sure if we live close to him."
"But it is closer than were we live now"
Grace gets all exited, when her mom walks out of her room, she calls Jade.
Jade: Hey girl whats up?
Me: i have to tell you something.
Jade: sure whats up?
Me: my parents have a new job
Jade: that's great
Me: but its not in this city
Jade: you mean
Me: were moving
Jade: when were? Girl tell me details
Me: were moving next month to LA
Jade: so you can see Jace again
Me: yeah probably
Jade: girl I'm so happy for you
Me: you don't dislike it
Jade: ofcourse i do, but it would be selfish if i wasn't happy for you
Me: thanks you're the sweetest
Jade: i know, but now you have to call Jace about the news
Me: i will
Jade: bye
Me: bye
Ugh is it bad that i'm exited to move?
Jace: hello
Me: hey
Jace: whats up?
Me: what are you doing next month
Jace: idk like filming or something like that, why?
Me: because I'm coming to LA
Jace: what really?!
Me: and i have even better news
Jace: what is it
Me: I'm gonna live there
Jace: you do what now?
Me: yeah my parents have a new job
Jace: so your moving here next month
Me: yeah I am
Jace: that's crazy, should i come to the airport?
Me: if you wanna and if you have the time ofcourse
Jace: for you always
Me: great see you then
Jace: byee
Me: byee
