I tap my foot to the beat of Grease music playing over the speaker as I paint the new living room a shade of light grey. Ethan sang along as he painted in another room, so I should probably be a good fiancé and scare the living shit out of him.
I place the paint roller carefully in the paint tray, and sneak over to our bedroom, where Ethan was. As I walk closer, his singing becomes louder and I hold my breath.
He was facing away from where I walked in, which would make it easier to scare him. I creep closer until I'm right behind him.
"If you're trying to scare me it's never gonna work. Never ever." He said simply while still painting the wall. I roll my eyes but still wrap my arms around his waist.
"What if I said no sex ever again." I teased with a grin. He screamed with a hand to his heart and turned around.
"Now that's scary." He grunted in a low tone. He smirked and wrapped his arms around my waist, slowly swaying to the beat. "Close you're eyes." He whispered. I close my eyes, and lean forward for a kiss.
All of a sudden, I feel cold wet substance on my nose. I open my eyes to find Ethan holding a paintbrush dripping with light green paint. He was suppressing his laughter as I gave him the biggest scowl I could with out laughing myself.
I reach down and slip my hand in the paint, and flick it onto his face. He wiped it off of his bottom lip and dropped his paintbrush.
He kissed around my mouth, knowing that was what drove me crazy. I pushed him lightly back and leaned in, tilting my head past him to tease him just as much. He laughed and cupped my face with his hands, finally getting a kiss.
"We're moving in together." He whispered, resting his forehead on mine. I chuckled and nodded.
"I don't just love you. I'm in love with you,"
