She
She's covering her ears, the world is mute,
It's better silent, no more dispute.
She's closing her eyes, not wanting to see,
What this world has turned out to be.
She's hiding her arms, wrists and thigh,
The blood from the cuts still have to dry.
She's blocking her heart, now no one can get through,
She can't make herself happy, neither can you.
She's stopping the meals, no more food for her,
Eating isn't important, she doesn't want to be fatter.
She's shutting her mouth, words can't find their way out,
The voices in her head are starting to shout.
She's hiding herself, shutting out the world,
Left alone, her feelings are all curled.
She's living, but doesn't want to be seen,
To fall to her death she has never been more keen.
