I picked up the phone. Its 7 a.m. who would call this early in the morning?
"Hello?"
"Great you're up. I wanted to let you know you've been offered a movie deal."
"Kate... I don't know... I feel like I just finished shooting Focus."
"Nah, that was a while ago. But THIS is gonna be HUGE for your career."
"What is it about?"
"The movie is going to be called Suicide Squad. It's about super villains taking on the role of wannabe heros."
It didn't really interest me. But I decided to ask more.
"Sounds ok. Who's directing it?"
"David Ayer."
Shit. I heard he was tough.
"And who would I be?"
"The infamous Harley Quinn."
"Im not sure. I'll call you back later."

I turned around to see the love of my life, sleeping besides me. Tom Ackerley.
