You know that feeling you get when everything is perfect, when everything is just right...yup, that feeling that everything is – too perfect. I was happy, I was in love with someone, someone was in-love with me...something was bound to go wrong.

»Crap!« Lucas suddenly hit his forehead.

»What?«

»I forgot the film for my camera.«

»At your place?« Of course at his place, where else...

»Yeah...« He sighed. »I better go get it.«

»Fine, let's go.« I jumped and grabbed his hand. This weird gesture seemed to lighten up his face.

Lucas gently pulled my hand towards him, wrapping me in his embrace. »Okay, love.«

»What?«

»What what?«

»No lil' kitty?«

He chuckled and kissed my cheek. »Okay, lil' kitty.« Lucas said. »Do you know what a 'cat kiss' is?« He asked, innocently.

»What?« I carefully asked.

»This.« He licked my cheek.

»Eeew!« I laughed and wiped my cheek with the sleeve of his shirt.

»Want another one?« He smirked and pulled me through the entrance door to his building.

I was about to protest his slimy, wet cat kisses, but something caught our attention.

»Lucas?« Said a deep female voice. I looked up the stairs and saw and older woman squeezing her purse so tightly I could almost see fingernail marks on the red fabric. She was somewhat familiar, like I've seen her before... »Hi.« She said and looked straight at him. She didn't even notice me. Like I wasn't there, or like...she didn't really care if I was or not.

Lucas swallowed. »Hi.« He said with a calm voice, slightly raising his head, looking rather nervous.

»I've come...« The woman tried to say something. »Well, you don't pick up. I was worried...I guess.« She smiled and brushed locks of hair away...red nails...red nails! That's the woman that Lucas...that Lucas...

»I'm not doing that anymore.« Lucas said that statement like it was the most important thing on this world.

»Oh...well.« She smiled and lowered her look.

I could finally see her. The little wrinkles at the corner of her eyes. Her thin lips coloured in orange shade. Huge boobs. Really huge boobs. Is that what men are into? Huge boobs? Oh god, what am I talking about, it's not like she's his love interest...and yet, I was jealous like hell.

»Maybe...« She spoke but I grabbed Lucas's hand and gave her the nastiest look I could manage. After-all, I saw Cookie do it.

»Oh, I see.« She smiled, ashamed. »Well then, I'll be...«

»Lorena!« A strong male voice suddenly yelled.

»John!« Her eyes became twice their size as she leaned on the wall, looking pale as a ghost.

I never understood the phrase where people say everything happened so fast, but this moment screamed for that phrase like no other.

»I didn't...« She struggled to explain.

»I knew it!« The man yelled at her and I closed my eyes. I really hate when people are screaming at each other. I can't even watch the movie scenes with yelling. »You whore!« He gasped for air. »Cheating on me?! What am I talking about,« He laughed with the most horrifying laugh manageable. »of course you're cheating on me! You think I didn't notice the way you stare at yourself in the mirror before you go out?! The way you put on your most expensive Dior lipstick?! The way you giggle in the bathroom, the way your eyes shine every time you come home...« His voice cracked down, it was so desperate...It seemed like the man was about to cry.
