Chapter 14: "Please Remember, Part 1"

-Evan POV-

"Who are you people?"

Those words cut me like a knife. I couldn't believe what I heard. I looked at everyone else and they all just stood there shocked at what he said.

"Is everyone alright? You all seem upset." Keith asked.

"Excuse us for a moment." Sean said.

He just nodded his head. We all left the room. I just couldn't hold tears back anymore. I just let go.

I was pulled into a group hug by everyone.

"Just think, if I didn't leave him at my house alone, this wouldn't have happened." Sean said.

"It'snot your fault Sean." I said.

"Yes it is Evan." He replied.

"Sean,no, you found him when he could have died out in the freezing cold. I thank you for that."

I grabbed Sean harder and hugged him.

"You may take Keith home now." One of the nurses said.

I nodded and walked to his room.

"You're coming home with me." I said to a tired Keith.

MINI SKIP TO CAR

Keith and I were in the car waiting at a stop light.

"You never did tell me who you were." Keith said.

I looked at him.

"I'm your father."

"Oh"

That's all he said.

"Why was I in the hospital?" He asked me.

That was the question I hoped he wasn't going to ask.

"Well, it's kind of a long story." I said.

He just nodded.

"It's alright, you don't have to tell me." He said.

"I'll tell you later." I said.

TIME SKIP

We walked in the door of the house.

"Which one is my room?" He asked.

I showed him his room.

(PICTURE)

"You seem tired, so you can take a nap if you want to." I said.

He nodded and I left the room.

"What can I do to make him remember?" I ask myself.

"I GOT IT!" I shouted.

I hope I didn't wake Keith. I quickly looked up the steps and he didn't come out.

MINI TIME SKIP

I was sitting at my recording desk because I was making a montage of all my videos, and added some pictures of him and Ray.

"I hope this works." I said.

-??? POV-

"Keith lost his memory?" I asked my father.

"Yes."

"Okay,thanks for telling me."

"No problem, Kiddo." My father left.

"I can't believe that loser lost his memory. How did he lose it? I hate that kid so much.Why though? He never did anything to me. Was it my ego?" I asked myself.
