To tell the absolute truth, she didn't think the date was going to go well. Savannah knew that Harry liked Louis. She knew Louis liked Harry, too. And yes, she knows that Harry said yes to the date. But Louis is a complete mess when he's nervous, and Savannah wouldn't really be surprised if Harry was one, too. And this whole new dating thing had to be the most nerve-wracking thing ever. First dates are hard enough, but first dates with people who happen to be your best friend? That would make Savannah want to drive off of a cliff and into oncoming traffic.

Savannah expected to walk into the school, go by Louis' locker, only to find out that the boy had either stayed home or find him depressed and wanting to just leave anyways. But, when she walked into the school, Louis was standing with Harry, smiling up at him like he held the world in his hands and the light in Harry's eyes was Louis' only source of sun. She was very happy for her friends, and especially Louis, because he'd been so upset lately. To see him happy was like watching flowers bloom and bud after a long, hard, cold winter.

Watching Louis be happy was like watching a life being made, because to Louis, it was like Harry was his whole life.

"Hey, guys. How are you two lovebirds doing? Not making out, I hope," Savannah said, walking up to the two of them. They blushed and took a step away from each other, shaking their heads.

"N-n-no, S-Savann-nnah. We-e-e h-haven't-t-t k-kiss-ssed-d yet-t-t," Louis said, blushing so red, Savannah thought steam was going to come out of his ears.

"Not that I don't want to kiss Louis, though. I really, really want to," Harry said, making Louis blush even harder.

Savannah giggled at the two and then nodded, starting to turn away so she  could go to her first class. "Well, you two have fun with that fact. And use protection!" Savannah called over her shoulder, making Louis almost faint. She giggled again and turned back around, squealing when she ran into someone a bit taller than her.

She fell straight onto her bum, which made Savannah hiss out in pain. She looked up with anger in her eyes, wanting to scream and yell at whomever she bumped into, but she instantly shut her mouth when she saw the person.

It was a girl, only about three inches taller than the short Savannah. But she stood so confidently, she could be mistaken for something much taller. Her long, brown hair drifted down in waves to her breasts, the ends flipping out like they were styled that way. She had green eyes that seemed to look right through Savannah, but not in a rude way, nor an uncomfortable way. But in a way that made Savannah feel safe, and loved. And all by a complete stranger.

The girl seemed quite awkward, despite being so confident, yet, she looked so beautiful, and so safe, that Savannah wanted to hug her close and love her.

Savannah is a little bit dizzy right now, she has to be, because angels don't exist, and that is definitely what is standing in front of her.

"Oh, my gosh! I'm so terribly sorry! Here, take my hand, I'll help you up," the girl said, genuinely sorry and worried. Savannah blushed and took the girl's hand, gasping when she was pulled up in one go. She lost her balance quickly, though, and clung onto the girl for a moment, looking up at the girl with wide eyes. "Oh," the girl giggled, still grasping onto Savannah's hand, "you're the new girl."

Savannah blushed and pulled away, clearing her throat and nodding. "Yeah, I'm the new girl. From California. My name is Savannah Outen," Savannah responded, toeing at the ground.

The girl nodded and smiled a sweet, bright smile. "Yeah, I know. Um. I'm Georgia. Georgia Richards. I'm from around here, actually, not from California, although I've heard some great things about America and Americans. Maybe sometime you can tell me more about where you're from?"
