Violet's POV-
"So have you talked to him?" I asked William as he had his head laid on my stomach, on the verge of sleep as I ran my fingers through his hair.
"Only the day of the battle," he murmured.
"Has he tried talking to you?"
He hummed, I sighed. William will never forgive his father and I don't think I would have either, maybe I would have found William long before any of those cruel things happened to me. I'm not holding a grudge because until we hear Hector's side of the story, we'll never know the real reason on why he left William and why he never spoke of him. If anything I feel guilty for knowing William's father more than he does.
"Are you nervous?" I questioned.
William looked up at me in confusion. "About what the future holds for us?"
He seemed to think about the question, before he answered. "I'm not nervous. I'm excited. We're starting a family," he grinned against my stomach. I smiled, that we were.
Before I could respond, the door to my room in the infirmary was opened. William growled at the intruder, the doctor looked too panicked to even pay attention to the growl.
"Princess, I'm so sorry for barging in like this, but I was going over some of your ultrasounds and it's urgent," he rushed out.
"W-what's wrong?"
"I-I"
"WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH THEM?!" William growled out as he slammed the doctor onto the wall and held him up by his neck.
"William let him go!" I said. William growled, but obeyed me and came to sit by my side, wrapping his arms protectively around me and resting them on my stomach.
"W-w-well, um, your pregnancy won't be easy," the doctor said as he regained his composure.
We looked at him in confusion.
"The child growing in you, could potentially kill you," he rushed out. William immediately snarled and his eyes went blood red. He was about ot get up , but I held his hand.
"Explain," I said, I couldn't really process what the doctor was saying.
"You have what is called a rare ectopic pregnancy. It's where a fertilized egg is implanted somewhere other than the uterus."
"H-how?"
"Usually these pregnancies are caused by drug misuse, or unattended health from the mother, but in your case it was because of all the flossom that entered your system and the power of the antidote that has entered your system within the last 24 hours," he explained.
William and I were in shock, it was so quiet you could hear a needle drop. "Is there anything we can do?" William questioned.
"The only solution I can think of, and I have consulted other possible theories to help with other royal, specialized doctors from other realms, but the only solution would be to...terminate the pregnancy," he concluded.
I felt like I couldn't breathe, my hands went to my stomach as I felt tears rushing out of my eyes.
"Do it."
"No."
William and I answered at the same time. My eyes snapped towards his still read ones.
"What?!" We both growled out.
"How can you...THIS IS OUR BABY!" I yelled at William.
"I KNOW THAT! BUT IT'S RISKING YOUR LIFE! DO YOU HONESTLY THINK I COULD COPE WITH ANYTHING IF YOU WERE...gone?" he whispered the last part.
"I'm not ending this pregnancy William."
"WHY THE FUCK NOT?! I WON'T LET IT KILL YOU!"
"That's my decision to make," I said.
"It's mine too!" I shook my head and he snarled in anger before turning around, the doctor has been long gone, and stormed out of the room. His roars of anger and sadness ringing through the halls of the castle.
I looked at my stomach and silently sobbed, we were fine five minutes ago. We were looking towards the future with high hopes...I sobbed even harder, now there was a future where the possibility of me never seeing my child grow up, or seeing how well of a father William is going to be, or if I ever turned out to be a great mother...but if there was a future where my child could live, then I was willing to do anything to let that happen...even if it kills me.

Wow, it's been awhile, but I've been so busy with my studies and everything I haven't been able to sit down and concentrate on writing another chapter. I'm sorry guys.
I'll try to make the next update soon, maybe this weekend?
