Chapter 7- Rejections

Violet's point of view-

 

I turned away, leaving William behind as I followed James through the clouds; it was about five minutes later when we were suddenly attacked.

I saw James fall, something sticking out of his ribs, how the heck was this possible? I saw him put his force field around us, but the arrow went straight through it!

I didn't have any more time to dwell on it because before I knew it, I felt something prick my wings, and next was my rib cage, everything went black, the last thing I remember was falling on the hard ground and hearing some voices.

"The Alpha will be so proud of us! I mean we caught two Dendrix!" I heard a voice as I was waking up. I felt something in me wanting to break free and harm whoever harmed me, but I held it back.

"He won't be here for a few days though, he's still dwelling on something," I heard another voice say.

"Yeah, I heard our Luna left him again, but the weird thing is he's not looking for her yet," I think a little part of me broke, I knew who they were talking about and that he wasn't going to come after me, but there was still a little part in me that hoped he would.

"Don't be stupid, he sent out his Beta and Gamma, last night, I heard them run past us as soon as we put these two in the truck," I'm in shock now, but he could have just sent them to look for something else, I don't need to get my hopes up for nothing.

I woke up to find myself in a cell, chained up to a wall with silver, I didn't really feel the burn on my wrists but I could slightly smell the burned flesh. As soon as I faced forward I was face to face with a blue and white flower, I gasped as I tried to back my face further to the wall. It was Flossom, a rare and very deadly flower used against Dendrix, a long time ago my kind searched and destroyed every single flower we could find, I thought they became extinct, but I guess not, no wonder James and I were taken down so quickly, the arrows were laced with flossom! I looked down and noticed my side was bleeding and didn't look like it was healing at all. I felt weak, my senses were wary and I just wanted to leave and never return. I felt the sting in my wings, noticing how they didn't shrink into my back, they were still out and flaming; in my weak state I couldn't force them to burn, if I did then this place would be down I seconds.

Looks like I had to get out of here the old fashioned way, but before I could even think of a plan ,the cell door opened and I was staring at two boys, they seemed to be around 19 and 20, both had similar features, most likely brothers. 

"Looks like the monster woke up," the one with brown eyes said.

"What do you want from me?" I questioned.

"To destroy your kind," the one with green eyes growled out looking seconds away from attacking me.

"What did we ever to do you?" I questioned, already having an idea, we were natural destructive creatures, and we kill for fun, so I wouldn't be surprised if he said we killed someone dear to him.

He was about to lung when brown eyes held him back, "See this is exactly why this pack kills your kind," he growled out.

 I froze, "You don't care about anyone, and you're all emotionless and destroy everything you touch! It's our job to destroy all of you!" he growled out.

Brown eyes glazed over, "The Beta is coming, let's go, he'll put her and her friend in pain, while the Alpha gets here, we've already done our job," Brown eyes said as he pulled green eyes away from getting near me, but in a second he managed to get free and used his wolf speed to reach the all sorts of knives that were next to me. He grabbed one and plunged it deep in my chest, I screamed, it was covered in flossom.
