I'd lie

Caspar's POV

We were currently on our way home from a night out with the boys. We already dropped Jack, Josh, Oli and Conor and now it's just me and Joe.

I look over to Joe and even from this angle he looks perfect.

Why? Why is it so hard to not look at his beautiful eyes everytime we're together?

"I don't think that passenger seat
Has ever looked this good to me
He tells me about his night
And I count the colors in his eyes"

"Caspar why the fuck are you so quiet?" Joe says and it brings me back to reality

"Nothing, tell me about that girl you like" I said in a teasing tone, trying to hide my jealousy.

"Girl that I like? You mean Andrea? You kidding me Caspar?"

"No, I'm not how is that even me kidding around Joseph?" I said laughing at him

"Do I look like a guy looking for commitment? No thanks"

"He'll never fall in love he swears
As he runs his fingers through his hair
I'm laughing 'cause I hope he's wrong"

"Why's that?" I asked him, I'm honestly really curious why he doesn't want to be committed and why he doesn't want to fall in love with anyone.

"I'd rather die than be with some girl" Joe said laughing

I just faked a laugh. What's got him so afraid?

"And I don't think it ever crossed his mind
He tells a joke, I fake a smile"

I was about to ask him why he's afraid of commitment when suddenly his favorite song was on the radio.

"This is my Jam, shh" Joe said and he looks so cute when he hears his fav song.

"But I know all his favorite songs"

"And if you feel you're sinking I will jump right over into cold cold water for you" Joe started to sing loudly and off tune

He has a good voice, but he's trying to keep it hidden. He feels as if there are already so many singers so there is no need for him to join the party. For me, his voice alone is music to my ears.

"Why're you staring at me like that?"

"Nothing" It's just that I love my bestfriend.

"Whatever Caspar"

*The next day*

We were currently at an interview and we were nailing it.

We're now playing the best mates tag and we haven't committed any mistakes yet.

"One , two , three, Indecisiveness!" We both said at the same time

"That's how you know we're great roomates!"

"He looks around the room
Innocently overlooks the truth
Shouldn't a light go on?
