Joe's POV

We were currently on the way to the engagement party. I was with my sister Zoe and we were both very quiet on the way to the venue.

"Joe, you okay?" Zoe suddenly spoke up and I nodded

"Yeah, I'm great" I said with a sarcastic tone.

I was okay, at least I was trying to be okay, but Caspar had to get fucking engaged. That's great.

"Hey, I was doing just fine before I met you"

Well, let's be honest. I'm kinda hungover today. I may or may not have drank too many cans of beer yesterday. I had my advil, so hopefully I'll be okay.

"I drink too much and that's an issue
But I'm Ok"

"We're here Joe" Zoe suddenly said and I realized that yes, we were here already.

It was time to face reality.

We went out of the uber and proceeded inside.

When I was inside the venue, I realized it looked a bit small and that the venue was only set up for 2 people.

"What's going on?" I said and looked back at Zoe to my surprise she wasn't there anymore. Great.

Suddenly I heard the door open and doors locking.

"What the hell Alfie? What the fuck is your problem?" I heard a familiar voice scream

I looked back and I saw him, yes , it was Caspar.

"C-caspar?" I said which suddenly made him look at me.

"Joe? What? What's happening?"

"I have no idea"

Suddenly a voice suddenly blasted in the speaker.

"Since you two are freaking oblivious, we set this up. No, no one's engaged. No party is gonna go on. We did this cause we know you guys love each other and your pride is standing in your way. There's food on the table setup. By the way, the door is locked, don't bother. Have fun!" Marcus said

"Those bastards" Caspar blurted out

"Hey, tell your friends it was nice to meet them
But I hope I never see them again"

"What do we do know?"

"Let's eat then?"

"Um, sure" I said awkwardly.

"I know it breaks your heart
Moved to the city in a broke down car"

This is so awkward. I don't even know what to say once we sat down, we just stayed silent for about 15 minutes.

"And four years, no calls
Now you're looking pretty in a hotel bar

I cant help but stare at him, he was in a tux and he looked so handsome. I missed him so much. I cant believe it's been so long since we talked to each other.

Caspar's POV

The silence was very awkward. I just hope he would say something.

I ended up staring at his face, why did I leave him again? Oh yeah, I was dumb. I didn't know what I had and I didn't realize how much I loved Joe.

"You, look as good as the day I met you
I forget just why I left you, I was insane"

"You look g-good" I finally spoke up, I cant handle the silence anymore.

"Thanks, you too" Joe replied not wanting to look me in the eyes.

"Can we talk about us?"

"Sure" he said, fuck, he looks so broken.

"I'm sorry about the way I treated you when we were together. I was the worst boyfriend ever. I don't even know why you're still here. The only thing keeping you here with a douchebag like me must be that freaking lock Alfie put there. I hope you can forgive me, Jojo" I said, I was so close to crying. I miss him, I miss us.

"Stay, and play that Blink-182 song
That we beat to death in Tucson, Ok"

Joe just stared at me.

"Jojo, I still love you. I know I broke your heart and didn't even bother to get you back. I was just stupid."

"I know it breaks your heart

"I also know that we havent talked in so long and I missed you, fuck I miss talking to you. Just please talk to me"

Joe stood up and I stood up as well, I'm not gonna let him slip away again. Not this time.

"Joe just please liste-" I said as I was cut off

"Oh just shut up" Joe said and he kissed me. The kiss was full of passion and love.

That I know you can't afford
Bite that tattoo on your shoulder"

My hands were on his waist as I pulled him closer. The kiss was starting to get heated when a voice suddenly surprised us.

"Umm... You guys do know that we're still here right?" Zoe said as we both pulled away

"Well, if you would just bloody let us out of here, that would be great." Joe said

"Pull the sheets right off the corner
Of that mattress that you stole
From your roommate back in Boulder

"Alfie let them out" I heard Zoe shout and suddenly the door opened

"So, lets go?" I said to Joe

"What about the food?"

"I'm hungry for something else" I said as I pulled Joe out of the venue and into my car and I started to kiss him again.

We pulled away after a few seconds.

"I love you Jojo"

"I love you too Caspy"
