AN: Hello, thank you so much for reading my story!! Remember to vote and comment, let me know how I'm doing. :)

As soon as my skates touch the ice I feel a warm fuzzy feeling in my stomach. I can't believe I'm here with Kenneth. I try my best to find my footing on the ice but my legs are still wobbly.

"Are you O.K. O'Connell?" Kenneth asks, his green eyes stare into mine, concerned.

"Yeah, it's just um," I reply awkwardly.

"It's just what, come on O'Connell tell me," Kenneth says grabbing my shoulders gently, his gaze even deeper.

"Um, I don't know how to ice skate," I mutter quietly.

"You've never been ice skating before?" Kenneth says, his bright green eyes widen with shocked.

"No, I've been iceskating before I just haven't been in a long time," I say awkwardly once more.

"It's O.K. I can teach you," Kenneth says confidently.

"You can?" I ask slightly surprised.

"Of course, it's easy. Come on," Kenneth says grabbing my arm, leading me on the ice.

When my feet touch the ice my legs start to feel wobbly but Kenneth's strong grip on my hand keeps me steady.

"You just glide your left foot across the ice, then your right foot and then your left foot again," Kenneth says murmuring in my ear.

I try to make my feet do what Kenneth is telling me but I'm just not coordinated enough and I keep slipping, Kenneth catches me every time.

"I just can't do this," I groan as I grab the wall on the edge of the rink.

"Sure you can, you just need practice," Kenneth says gently.

"O.K. I'll try it one more time, after than I'm getting the walker," I joke.

"The walker? But that's so embarrassing," Kenneth says laughing.

"Maybe for you but I need it," I giggle.

"Fine, but try one more time," Kenneth says grinning at me.

"O.K. I'm ready," I reply hesitantly.

Kenneth grabs my hand again and slowly guides me along the ice. Left foot, right foot, left foot, right foot, left foot again. For a minute I think I got it.

"I'm skating, I'm actually skating," I exclaim excitedly.

"I know you're doing great," Kenneth replies encouragingly. "I'm gonna let go now O.K." Kenneth says letting go of my hand.

"No wait, I can't do this! I can't do this, I'm going to fall," I yell panicked.

"No, you'll be fine," Kenneth says to me.

Surely enough as soon as he says that I fall hard on my back.

"Oh my god, O'Connell are you O.K.? Are you hurt?" Kenneth says as he crouches over me

"You weren't supposed to let me fall," I groan as I sit up.

"I'm sorry," Kenneth chortles, his green eyes bright with excitement.

"It's not funny, I could have seriously be injured," I giggle.

"Of course, this is not a laughing matter," Kenneth jokes, his lips twitch up with a playful smirk.

"But it really isn't funny, my back actually hurts," I laugh awkwardly.

"I'm sorry," Kenneth replies guilty.
