Chapter One.

Emilee's POV

Gasps came flying from everywhere.

I was frozen, I couldn't say a simple yes, or no.

Josh got up, my eyes following him.

"Emilee?" Josh's smile disappeared.

Nausea hit me and I covered my mouth. I sprinted towards the bathroom and let it all out.

I felt someone rob my back in circles and hold my hair back.

Once I finished, I rinsed my mouth and turned around to see Josh.

My brain was pounding against my skull and I felt really dizzy.

"Emilee?" Josh repeated.

I remember nothing more.

I felt cold water splash my face which woke me up.

I opened my eyes and there sat a worried Josh kneeling down at me.

I sat up and Josh wrapped his arms around me.

"Josh, I'm fine," I reassured him.

"Well you blacked out for a miniute. I was so scared I lost you!"

I tried getting up but it didn't work until Josh helped me to my feet.

"Thanks, but can I please go home now?" I asked.

"Sure." Josh helped me walk to the living room where everyone turned and watched us.

"Emilee, my sweet angel, are you okay?" Mom asked.

"I'm fine, but I'm going home now, I don't feel the greatest."

"All right, get better soon," mom hugged me.

I walked over to Haley. "Thank you," I smiled as I took Chase back. "Bye everyone, so sorry about this."

I walked out into Josh's car.

"You haven't answered my question yet."

"I don't know, Josh. I love you and all, but we've only been dating for like eight months, do you think we're ready to get married yet?" I asked.

"Sure. Plus, it's best for Chase, too."

"Okay, here's my answer, I'll think about it."

"You're kidding, right?" Josh asked.

"No."

"Okay, you're decision, not pressuring you or anything. I love you," he kissed me.

"I love you, too."

We drove back to the apartment.

"Hey Chase, guess what! This is your home," I kissed his forehead.

"Yeah, but we have to buy a new one, soon."

"How much longer do we have?" I asked.

"Six months."

"Oh. Are you hungry?" I asked.

"No, and even if I was, I would refuse you to make me something."

"Why?"

"Because you just had Chase. Are you hungry?" Josh asked.

"Sort of."

"Okay, what do you want?"

"Nothing."

"Emilee!"

"Ew, Chase has a dirty diaper!" I frowned.

"Good luck changing him."

"Whoa, whoa, wait! You should change it!"

"Why?"

"Do you even know how to change a diaper?" I asked Josh.

"Maybe, maybe not."

I gave Chase to Josh.

"Ugh! Emilee! I'll pay you to do it!"

"You're going to have to do it eventually, you're a dad now! But I'll still take the money," I smiled.

"No, my money. Now where do I do this?" Josh asked.

"In the nursery."

Josh carried Chase into the nursery and once again, he asked where.

I pointed to the basinet.

He carried Chase over there and laid him on it.

He stopped for a second then looked at me.

"You need a diaper, baby powder and baby wipes."

He looked at me confused.

"I'm going to make Chase a bottle soon so I'll get that stuff now."

I walked to the cupboard in the nursery and got a diaper, baby powder and baby wipes.

"Here," I handed them to Josh. "I'll be back, I'm just getting Chase another bottle."

I walked to the kitchen, put powder in a bottle, then mik and warmed it up. Once it was done, I shook it and walked back to the nursery.

I saw Josh sitting in my rocking chair.

He looked up at me. "I gave up."

"Come here." I said as I walked towards the basinet and Josh followed. Chase was playing with his toes. "This is how you do it." I took Chase's diaper off, cleaned with baby wipes, put baby powder on and finally, put a new diaper on Chase.

"That's magic," Josh gasped.

"You learn from taking care of Isabella."

"Haley and Chris should have a girl so one day, Chase and their daughter could get married."

"Hold on! Chase is two days old, I don't want to think about him getting married when we're not even married yet!"

"So you want to get married?" Josh asked.

I rolled my eyes. "Ask me when Chase is a year and a half."

"But that's a year and a half away!" Josh complained.

"I'll be nearly twenty then. They say teen marriages lead to divorce and I don't want to go through one!"

"Me either, but I have faith in our relationship. I think we can pull off being married for the rest of our lives. Remember when you were six, and I was seven?"

"Partially, why?"

"You promised to marry me when you were eighteen because you thought no one would marry you," Josh reminded me.

"Josh, I was six, I stuck crayons up my nose!"

"I remember that!" Josh laughed.

Chase fell asleep so I brought him to his crib.

"Just think, in twenty years, I could be a grandma," I sighed.

"I'm to sexy to be a grandpa."

I playfully punched his arm. "Beth said they grow up so fast, it kinda scares me. And soon enough, Chase is going to have a baby cousin."

"Oh, yeah, Melissa is pregnant, I really didn't think she wanted to get pregnant before she's married."

"Well, I have to help Beth and Melissa with wedding planning," I sighed.

"It could give you practice for ours," Josh kissed my cheek.

"I guess it could."

"I can't wait to get married to the love of my life," Josh kissed me.

"Oh, who is this lucky girl we speak of?"

"You, silly."

The phone started ringing.

"I'll get it," Josh said.

He left to get the phone and I stared at my son, who was asleep.

Seconds later, Josh came into the room with the phone in his hand.

"It's for you."

"Who is it?" I asked.

"I think Amanda."

I took the phone.

"Hello?"

"Em! Did you have your baby yet?"

"Uh, yeah. Who's this?" I questioned.

"Phoebe! Don't you remember, I was pregnant, too and asked you about it!"

"Oh, wait! You said was, you had your baby?!"

"No, I'm only thirty four weeks!"

"Wow, so did you go to university?" I asked.

"Of course not! I have a child to take care of! I'm guessing you didn't either?"

"No."

"Well, I found out the sex of my baby!" I could hear Phoebe smiling.

"What is it?"

"He is a she."

"What?" I asked.

"I'm kidding! She's a girl!"

"Awe, mine was a son, maybe they'll be best friends when they're older."

"Maybe more than friends," Phoebe laughed.

"Whoa! Chase is only two days!"

"Awe, the doctors say Hanna will be born before her actual due date, so I'm kind of scared. How did it go?"

"Worst pain ever!"

Phoebe winced.

"Not to scare you or anything," I told Phoebe. "But you get an amazing prize once you're done giving birth. Wait, you already named your daughter?"

"Yes, I love the name Hanna!"

"Well, Hanna is a cute name!" I smiled. I've always liked the name Hanna.

"Thanks, but I have to go, I'm having my baby shower right now, sorry I didn't invite you, I already had too many people on the list!"

"It's fine, have an amazing time and call me when Hanna is born."

"Sure thing! Bye, and good luck with Chase!"

I hung up and saw Josh was looking at me confused.

"It was Phoebe, remember, the girl from school everyone called a slut?" He nodded. "She's having her baby shower now and was asking about me and Chase."

"Oh, well, I'm going to make you something to eat, c'mon."

Josh held my hand as we walked to the kitchen.

"I'm making you grilled cheese because you love it," Josh kissed me.

*FIVE MINUTES LATER*

The stupid fire alarm is hurting my ears and is probably going to wake Chase up.

There was smoke everywhere as I brushed it away as Josh tried to stop the alarm.

Josh stopped it and I turned the stove off.

Josh and I slumped ourselves on chairs. He looked at me for a bit then said, "I'll order pizza."

I laughed and that's what we did, and watch movies.
