Lessons learned
A knew knowledge earned
Forgotten memories from the past
Finally allowing them to no longer last
So much pain to say the least,
But now is the time for it all to be ceased.
Time to step up and start anew
And let the break downs become few.
It's taken so much time to leave it all behind
And finally clear it from your mind
No longer to possess
and make you depress and stress
Lost in a daze
No longer left in this dreadful maze
Taking on a new perspective
Leaving you in a state of the reflective
All you've lost and where you've felt nothing has been gained
Always feeling so exhausted and drained
Well now that is no more
You're holding your head high and getting up off the floor.
Reaching out for opportunities that shall now arise
Taking the time to finally open your eyes
Looking at all you chose to ignore
Examining every intricate detail that will help you find what you are searching for
A future that holds so much ...both good and bad
Times where you will be happy and times where you will be mad or sad
So much you will go through
That all becomes a part of you
New memories to be made
Allowing all that happen in the past to fade.
