Remembering 9/11

The shouts, the cries

Such horrid goodbyes

No where to go

Who's to know?

Smoke. haze

Left in such a daze

The dead silence before the long fall

Then the shouts and screams ...such a dreadful call

Nothing to be done

No help for anyone

For once the planes crashed into the twin towers, all hell broke loose

The reason given...there was no excuse

Many attempts to save lives

Only left more tears, pain, and goodbyes

For once the towers collapsed, all was gone

Nothing or no one else to look upon

Lives lost in the plane and in the towers

A tragic event that lasted for hours

More dead than alive

For most did not survive

The internal scars and emotional pain is what shall last forever in all.

For it is a day that even the mere thought or memory shall apall.

Many loved ones were lost

for such a stupid cost.

Haunting the world forever

Will it ever be forgotten?...Never

So always remember to take a moment of silence on that day

For it is something that shall never go away.

I started writing this on September 11, but did not get to finish it, so yesterday I finally did and decided to still upload it. Hope you like it. :) Please don't hesistate to comment or vote. :D
