The Strong vs. The Weak

Letting go,

is much more complicated than we take the time to acknowledge or allow ourselves to know.

We say we can do it,

that we can get through it,

but the action itself is harder than when voiced.

For once it is said, we are left with a choice

To truly act or only speak

This is what separates the strong from the weak,

The aggressor from the progressor

The brave that may be fearful, but don't stop,

The cautious and timid who move ahead, but are always weary.

Either way both must be careful to not allow their fear to prevent them from seeing clearly.

All fighting something

Leaving us wondering is it worth all or nothing.

Often times more difficult than we anticipated

Catching us off guard sometimes, especially when an event can lead to a life that is dissipated.

Far greater than we envision,

Making us doubt our intuition.

Battling temptation

Fearing our own imagination

Coming to the realization that life's a struggle

that we must juggle.

Asking ourselves can we get back up when we fall

or will we simply continue to stall?

Holding our heads high through all we may face.

Running as fast as we can through this life long race.

Letting go, no matter how bad it hurts, of all that pain and grief,

so that we can finally find that source of relief.

So when we say "We can do it,

that we can get through it,"

we must "act" not "speak"

For this shall determine whether we will become strong or remain weak.
