FIFTY SIX PT.2 AND FIFTY SEVEN

dave's POV

nagpapahinga na ngayon si annika sa kwarto niya so i decided to leave. Tinawagan ko si jethro para mapagusapan na ang gusot. Im not the type of guy who is contentented with all thats happening around me, especially to people i value a lot.

"hey jeth, its me."

"oh pre, zup?"

"let's meet up."

"wer?"

"harbor"

"sige, sino sino?"

"invite eeves,and aris and jazz. May kailangan tayo pagusapan."

"lemme guess, about the ex lovebirds?"

"yeah."

"okay, meet you there at 9"

"k."

i ended the conversation. Kailangan namin maayos toh. As far as it concerns annika, this is the only thing i could do for her.

**at harbor.

As expected, jethro came at around 9 with eevie.

"hey dave,why the sudden call?"eevie asked as she took a sit beside jeth.

"oh i just thought that we should fix this problem."

"but why should we when alexis started this." irritation is still obvious in her voice. Hindi niya parin kasi napapatawad si alexis. But for the short time ive known her, she is not the one who bear grudges.

"i know, pero should'nt we help them fix this? I mean, cmon they're having a child for pete's sake." i argued.

but before eevie could speak biglang dumating sina jazz at aris.

"sorry were late, may tinapos pa kasi kami." said aris who seems to be pre occupied.

tumango lang si jazz in agreement with aris.

"anyway, as i was saying, why should we help him if he deserves it? Sinaktan na nya si annika!" nagcross arms si eevie.

"i agree, look guys, kahit naman nasaktan na si annika maghheal din yun in time,right?" hindi ko nagets si jazz.

"nagkita na sila." i announced. Hndi pa kasi nila alam ang nangyari kanina sa bahay ni annika.

all of them were shocked and frozen. Mukhang hindi nila inaasahan ang nasabi ko.

"pano?!" asked aris,

"alexis followed me on the way to annika's house. Medyo nagsusupetya na kasi si alexis sakin and by the time i arrived saktong dating din ni annika from the mall and nagkita sila." i told them everything and eevie looked like she's thinking.

"eh anong nangyari kay lex?"tanong ni jeth.

"of course, he was shocked. Medyo nagtalo sila and if tatanungin ako i think annika is being irrational."i said.

Matagal ko na pinagiisipan ang bagay na toh, alexis never wanted for this to happen. He was also just a victim with sheena's cruelty, he was as fooled as annika.

"irrational? Of course dave, she's irrational, sa nangyari ba naman sa kanya! she was hurt, fooled, ano sa tingin mo mangyayari kay annika? Cmon dave!" sabi ni aris.

"and alexis doesnt feel the same? He was also fooled and hurt.  Alam niyo kung hindi niya mahal si annika dapat nagmove on na siya and maybe dapat mahal na niya si sheena by now, pero hindi. he still always checks up on annika, he still even wears their wedding ring."
